Jao, Mićo, ti si tako odmeren i umeren i tako ljupko i nenametljivo promotivan, da si čak i mene doveo u nedoumicu.  :lol:  Zanimljiva su to bila zapažanja, pogotovo u onom kvantitativnom domenu (dvaes+kusur danas, naspram 4-5 onda 8) ) da mi prosto krivo što te Nevidljivi nije pritisnuo da isprovrtiš snagu jednačine oko kvantitet / kvalitet optimizma. A kad si samo nabrojao sve prošlogodišnje romane koji se izdvajaju...  pa eto, odslušala sam to na 38 u hladu i zaključila kako bi mi u tom momentu mogao ladnjaka da uvališ neku oskuplju TA peć.  xrotaeye

Stvarno. Odslušao. Naravno da mi se nije dopalo. Ima materijalnih grešaka. Na primer, "Ogledalo za vampira" je imalo urednika, Slobodana Škerovića. Zato je i povremeno "odlutalo". Kuferu se "mnogo svidelo". Ni urednici nisu uvek najbolje rešenje. Smetalo mi je i što je Mića zaboravio da pomene "Grbovnik", makar u delu kad je naveo skoro sve romane koji se bave "istorijskom fantastikom". Takođe, nekako nije našao mesta za Detelićkine knjige, bar tamo gde je pominjao (više puta) Novakovićkin roman. Imam utisak da se više bavio likovima koji su imali zapaženije mesto u izdavaštvu.


Nije trebalo da mi pomeneš da mogu da nađem taj razgovor.

In episode 179 of the SF Signal Podcast, Patrick Hester (http://www.atfmb.com/) assembles a panel to discuss something that came up in a recent critique group meeting.

A month ago, I attended a critique group meeting. One of the submissions was a scifi piece that elicited a 25 minute debate on how kinetic energy and the concussive blasts from exploding rockets would 'really' impact a telekinetic sphere and whether or not people inside that telekinetic sphere would be turned to mush as a result.

Which caused me to quip, "This is why most of my stuff is fantasy. Tell the reader your characters traveled from the Earth to Mars in the blink of an eye and they will demand you give them every little detail of the science behind how your FTL works or else they won't believe it. Or you can say, 'the Wizard raised his hands, a fireball formed and he threw it at the enemy' and the reader will go, 'Cool!' and accept it."

(this got some laughs)

The gist was that a fantasy reader is more willing to accept the impossible versus the science fiction reader – because of the 'science'.

I asked our panelists what they thing. Do science fiction readers expect more logic and for the science to 'make sense' versus the fantasy readers? Are fantasy readers more ready to accept magic over science fiction? Yes, magic in fantasy has to have rules and the author cannot break those rules, but are the rules less important in fantasy versus science fiction?

Sve u svemu - krivo je nekakvo disfunkcionalno izdavaštvo, to je THE bottom line.


Oh, i ti sladostrasni uzdasi -  ako si im rekao!


Ko je bre kome ovde rekao? i Šta?


Istina je da upravo fandom proizvodi najjeftinije knjige. Knjige po striktno štamparskoj ceni. I nije to uopšte pitanje para, daleko bilo, to je zapravo pitanje duboko intimnog uverenja da knjiga zapravo i ne treba da košta više od njenog nesrećno obaveznog štamparskog ceha. Samo budala plaća više od golog minimuma, to za bilo šta, pa i za knjigu.


I ajde sad što je to tako kako jeste. Za koga je, dobro je - šta tu treba da se iko dalje dvoumi.


Ali parodija upiranja prstom svejedno ostaje neprevaziđena zabava za mase, skoro pa vanvremenski intrigantna taman koliko i izbor muzike u emisliji.


To nije Mars, to nije Venera, to je neka paralelna istorija koja fascinira taman koliko i prestravljuje, jer posle onog benignog wtf??? dolazi i spoznaja da se sve ovo već godinama odvija, godinama, godinama, i svi su se prisutni pravili da to ne vide, svi su prisutni ispratili svaki pojedini incident kao da je bio u granicama normale, da bi se tek nakon svih tih ihahaj godina i tog i takvog defilea "normalnosti" naprasno ohrabrili da nam obznane kako su sve to zapravo bila dela vredna pažnje, dela koja se izdvajaju, a za usputnu otužnost stanja stvari kriv je neko... neko drugi, bilo gospod, đavo, klingoni ili panspermia.


Mislim, stvarno, ko je bre ovde lud? (Dobro to, to sad već itekako znam, nego ima li više ovde ikog pametnog, to je ono što me danas zanima?)


Ajde bre više skupite pare i kupite neku rashodovanu štampariju, jer nakon toga, samo nebo će vam biti limit, bukvalno, pa sa njega tandrčite o "nepodnošljivoj lakoći današnjeg objavljivanja", gaddemju.
