The Wages of Fear is presented in its original aspect ratio of 1.33:1. On widescreen televisions, black bars will appear on the left and the right of the image to maintain the proper screen format. This new high-definition digital transfer was created on a Spirit Datacine from the 35mm fine-grain master. Thousands of instances of dirt, debris, and scratches were removed using the MTI Digital Restoration System. To maintain optimal image quality through the compression process, the picture on this dual-layer DVD-9 was encoded at the highest-possible bit rate for the quantity of material included.
The soundtrack was mastered at 24-bit from the 35mm magnetic track, and audio restoration tools were used to reduce clicks, pops, hiss, and crackle. The Dolby Digital 1.0 signal will be directed to the center channel on 5.1-channel sound systems, but some viewers may prefer to switch to two-channel playback for a wider dispersal of the mono sound.

Anchor Bay has let us know that their very eagerly anticipated DVD release of Cemetery Man (Dellamorte Dellamore), one of the coolest zombie films in the last few decades (hell yeah :!: - Ghoul comment), will finally be out on June 13th, 2006. That's a solid date, but unfortunately that's the only thing solid now; no artwork or features have been set in stone yet.

Fango got the scoop from Subversive Cinema about a bunch of its upcoming DVDs. Most notably, the company has made a deal with Richard Stanley's Shadow Theatre Films to release the long-awaited definitive director's-cut edition of Stanley's 1992 chiller DUST DEVIL. This release will be titled DUST DEVIL: THE FINAL CUT and is tentatively scheduled to street September 26; it hasn't been determined how many discs it'll be, but the feature will be accompanied by three Stanley documentaries (THE WHITE DARKNESS, THE SECRET GLORY and VOICE OF THE MOON), and all four will have commentaries by the director. In addition, there will be never-before-seen deleted scenes from the original workprint, and likely still more supplements.

FROM BEYOND director's cut on Monsters HD
Monsters HD, the 24-hour high-definition channel devoted to horror films, gave Fango the word that it will premiere the restored director's cut of Stuart Gordon's FROM BEYOND on June 10 at 8 p.m., in advance of its DVD debut. With the filmmaker's help, the Monsters team has reinstated scenes into the H.P. Lovecraft-inspired film that fans have only been able to read about for the past 20 years, and given the movie a fresh new look. "The transfer is really stunning," Gordon says. "Mac Ahlberg, the DP, did a beautiful job and it's got all these lurid colors. It was fun to see it again and to see it looking so good. I think it holds up pretty well. Everything that was trimmed by the MPAA is now back in the movie and it was great to see it restored. I had a wonderful feeling after it was done. An enormous sense of relief."
The director goes on to relate the trials the movie went through before the ratings board: "They were very upset and, I think, trying to get revenge for the unrated RE-ANIMATOR. So we had to submit FROM BEYOND at least a dozen times, maybe more. [Meeting with the MPAA] was like going to the principal's office to get scolded. They sat me down and the woman I was meeting with said, 'This is disgusting. Instead of pulling away you keep pushing in and pushing in and pushing in!' and I was like, 'I'm sorry, I'm sorry!' We ended up cutting out over a minute's worth of material to finally get it released with an R rating. They really took out some of the best stuff."
Describing the experience as "a real ordeal, this process just went on and on, and the distribution people were screaming, 'We've got a release date, you've got to make those cuts,' " Gordon mentions one scene that caused particular consternation. "The scene that upset them the most—and as I describe it, it is truly disgusting—is when Jeffrey Combs' character's pineal gland has gone out of control and he's hungry for brains. He attacks a psychiatrist, played by my wife [Carolyn Purdy-Gordon], and he plants his mouth onto her eye socket and starts sucking. And the material that was cut out was when he actually sucks her eyeball out, spits it onto the floor and the eyeball lands looking back up at him and he continues to suck her brains through the eye socket and the camera pushes in. It's really disturbing and it's the longest restored piece; my guess is it's about 30 seconds or so. I think it's the most horrific moment in the whole movie."
Gordon has been trying to get the uncut FROM BEYOND out to the fans for a while now, and came close when he discovered the deleted footage at MGM, which owned the video rights. But after the company was taken over by Sony, hopes seemed to fizzle out again—until Monsters HD president David Sehring, who was planning to air the film and was aware that the trimmed scenes had been found, offered to have the network pay for the restoration.
"Having known about this holy grail of horror and the controversy surrounding it," Sehring says, "I made it a mission for MONSTERS HD to restore FROM BEYOND's long-lost footage for all the world to see. Monsters HD makes every effort to preserve and present rare director's cuts and European versions of horror movies when the film elements are made available to us. I asked Stuart as well as MGM and Sony's technical-services departments if they could work together to restore the legendary missing footage into a new high-definition transfer for MONSTERS HD's broadcast."
And it wasn't just the visuals that received an upgrade, but the audio as well, with a new Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack. "The material was cut before the movie was mixed, so all that exists for it is the sound that was recorded on stage, which was mono, so we have to mix it back into the film," Gordon says. "Plus, I think we need some of those really truly disgusting sound effects for that brain-sucking scene." Serhing adds that he hopes to hear "some delicious slurping sounds in 5.1 stereo surround that will accentuate the 'eye-popping' visuals in high definition!"
Monsters HD will air FROM BEYOND as part of a Lovecraft celebration that will also include showings of THE UNNAMABLE, DIE MONSTER DIE and Dan O'Bannon's THE RESURRECTED. No word yet about a BEYOND DVD, but we'll be sure to let you know anything we hear.

Fango spoke to Michael R. Felsher of Red Shirt Pictures, who's currently wrapping up work on a new documentary for the new DVD release of THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE, coming in September from Dark Sky Films. To hear Felsher tell it, this two-disc set oughta be the last word in CHAINSAW for the home. "There'll be a new high-definition transfer from the 16mm camera original, and new 5.1 and 2.0 stereo audio mixes along with the original mono," Felsher tells us. "It'll have the commentary from the original DVD and a new one with stars Marilyn Burns, Alan Danziger and Paul A. Partain and production designer Robert A. Burns—David Gregory recorded it just before Robert and Paul died [see previous item here]. And of course, trailers, radio spots and much, much more."
Most notably, the second disc will contain two feature-length documentaries: the never-before-U.S.-released TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE SHOCKING TRUTH "and one I'm working on, with new interviews," Felsher reveals. "Since David has covered the whole making of the movie in SHOCKING TRUTH, my docu is going to be made up of several individual stories about the CHAINSAW experience, about different aspects of the film and its history. I got an all-new, in-depth talk with Ed Neal, who was a lot of fun, and Gunnar Hansen, as well as [cinematographer] Daniel Pearl, who talks about his experiences on both the original film and the remake. Then there's a new tour of the CHAINSAW house that I did with Tim Harden of Texaschainsawmassacre.net. The house is empty now—it was a restaurant until about two weeks ago, and Tim and I had the run of the place. It was something else.
"Another segment," he continues, "is about the man who did Grandpa's makeup, who was a well-known plastic surgeon and photographer, whose pictures appeared in many issues of Penthouse! While I was in Austin, I also went out and shot a lot of footage of the graveyard and the gas station that'll be used in the title sequence."

I have just seen the new Hi Def 16×9 transfer of Dust Devil: The Final Cut and it is simply stunning. Not a mark or scratch anywhere. The film has such an amazing depth of field that the new sparkling colors image quality create an almost a 3-D like impression. Even the colorist at the lab could not believe the transfer.
The DVD set is going to be limited to one pressing only, 10,000 pieces and then it is gone. Period, no more.
The final disc will include the following:

Izvin'te, moram da pitam, ali šta je tu genijalno? Možda to cinizam izbija, ali ja vidim samo još jedan način da se uzmu pare od onih koji sa istima ne znaju šta će, i pri tom imaju hrčkov kompleks usmeren na fetiše. Replika kamenog amuleta? Rani radovi? Čemu sve to?
mislim da je iz okačenog texta vrlo jasno i ne zahteva dodatno crtanje: ko želi samo film i extras koji idu uz njega, daće 20$ i biće srećan.

November 29: THE KINDRED joins the Synapse DVD family
Fango just spoke with Don May Jr. of DVD company Synapse Films, who gave the scoop on a new acquisition. He tells us, "We recently acquired the rights to THE KINDRED," the 1987 slime-monster movie by directors/co-writers Jeffrey Obrow and Stephen Carpenter starring Rod Steiger, Amanda Pays, David Allen Brooks and Kim Hunter. "Even though we still have to assess exactly what we're going to do with the title, we plan on having it out by the end of 2007. It's one of those great little creature movies from the '80s that had cool practical effects—and Amanda Pays is pretty hot too."
THE KINDRED, on which PSYCHO's Joseph Stefano also contributed to the screenplay, is about a young man (Brooks) who goes to his deceased mother's home with a group of friends to fulfill her dying wish that all her scientific research be destroyed. Instead, the results of those experiments prove to be alive and bent on destroying them. "We got all the original materials and checked the interpositives, and they're perfect; it looks like the movie was shot yesterday," May continues. "We've spoken to Jeff Obrow, and he's very excited by the fact that we have the film. We'll be presenting it in a beautiful special edition; supplements aren't finalized at this time, but we hope to have audio commentary, a featurette and trailers, at least. Next year is the movie's 20th anniversary, so we hope to deliver something special for the fans."
We'll keep you posted on this release, and in the meantime, May reveals another upcoming Synapse disc that's not horror, but which exploitation fans should still find...er...exciting. "On February 27, we're releasing our next installment of the 42ND ST. FOREVER trailer collections, which is another departure," he says. "With each edition, we try to do something a little different, and we got a lot of requests from people who said, 'Hey, why don't you do an X-rated one?' So we're granting that wish, and the latest disc is called 42ND ST. FOREVER: XXX-TREME SPECIAL EDITION. It'll be even longer than the other two; those clocked in at over two hours, and this one has even more. It's all 35mm material with anamorphic transfers of trailers for films from the early '80s—the tail end of filmed porno before video took over. They're really, really fun."

Cited by many as one of the Italian maestro's most atmospheric and stylish films, KILL is set in a Transylvanian village where the locals start turning up dead with gold coins embedded in their hearts, and a doctor (Giacomo Rossi-Stuart) and a local woman (Erika Blanc) try to uncover the culprit. Originally titled OPERAZIONE PAURA, also released in edited form as CURSE OF THE LIVING DEAD and previously issued on a fullscreen, extras-less VCI disc, KILL will be presented by Dark Sky in its uncut 84-minute version in anamorphic 1.85:1 widescreen, with the following extras:

I have just seen the new Hi Def 16×9 transfer of Dust Devil: The Final Cut and it is simply stunning. Not a mark or scratch anywhere. The film has such an amazing depth of field that the new sparkling colors image quality create an almost a 3-D like impression. Even the colorist at the lab could not believe the transfer.
The DVD set is going to be limited to one pressing only, 10,000 pieces and then it is gone. Period, no more.

XXX: Well, the DVD is coming out soon. Did you do anything special with the it?
ALFONSO CUARON: I'm very excited about the DVD because... you know, I'm not a big fan of director's comments or behind the scenes. What I proposed for this one was a documentary. What I did is put together a social frame that we were going to deal with.
When I set out to do CHILDREN OF MEN it was because I wanted to make an exploration to the state of things, to the things that are shaping the first decade of the 21st Century. In other words, shaping our future.
So, we did a lot of research and then with this documentary we got to interview some of the thinkers that were so influential in creating the scenario for the film. A documentary version of what's in the film.
We interview people like Naomi Klein and James Lubbock... they talk not about the film, but about the themes that are involved in the film. I think it's a very relevant documentary. I'm very proud of it because I get to share, through the documentary, the thoughts of these amazing minds. And it's almost like a post-apocalyptic movie!
XXX: Now, this documentary... did you direct it yourself?
ALFONSO CUARON: Yeah. I was doing post-production, so Ricardo, the scientific journalist, did the interviews. I was working with Ricardo setting up the questions, the structure of the questions, then pretty much I wrote the thing and put it together. Yeah, you can say I directed it.
XXX: Are there going to be any other bonus features on the disc?
ALFONSO CUARON: For me, the documentary is... is something that is really relevant and important. There is some of the other stuff. We have a version... we don't have a making of, but we have sections, like one section is called Man Under Attack. When we did the film, Emmanuel Lubezki, my cinematographer, he asked me not to reveal how we did the shots.
But then there's been so much speculation on the internet of how the shots were done... so that scene, Under Attack, that's how the scene in the car, the ambush of the car, was shot. There's one that is how (we did) the birth of the baby.
There's a section that is how we came up with the design for the future. Together with that, we have some deleted scenes. I haven't got many, but there are some of them. Then there's something with Julianne Moore and Clive Owen in which they talk about the characters.

New Edition of Controversial 'Caligula' To Be Released
Caligula, the 1976 film that featured such respected actors at Malcolm McDowell, Peter O'Toole, Helen Mirren, and the late John Gielgud -- all of whom were blindsided when producer Bob Guccioni of Penthouse magazine fame cut x-rated scenes into the movie -- is due to be released on DVD as the "Four-Disc Imperial Edition" by Image Entertainment on October 2nd, the distributor announced Tuesday. The film has previously been released in versions that were as short as 98 minutes and as long as three hours. In a statement, the company said that the DVD set will include newly recorded, no-holds-barred commentary tracks by McDowell and Mirren. In addition, the set includes two versions of The Making of Caligula, one of which includes deleted and alternate scenes. (The movie was also the subject of the book Ultimate Porno: The Making of a Sex Colossal by Piernico Solinas, a first assistant director on the film.)

Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has sent over early details on Hollow Man: Director's Cut, which stars Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue. DVD Active reports that this Paul Verhoeven directed film will include an additional 8 minutes of never-before-seen footage added back into the film. The film itself will receive a digitally re-mastered anamorphic widescreen transfer, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. We have no word on any extra material for this one yet, but we'll be sure to bring you further details shortly. You'll be able to own this one from the 16th October for around $19.94.

Ni meni. Na kraju krajeva, to je film u kojoj ne samo da imamo nevidljivu ženku gorile (!!!) nego i odvratno lice Kevina Bejkona ne moramo da gledamo dobar deo vremena jer je i on - nevidljiv!!! Kada bi se samo režiseri narednih filmova sa Kianuom Rivsom setili sličnog trika...

Moj utisak je uvek bio da je ovaj film slavljen pre svega zbog set designa, a ne zbog ostalog. Priča, iako je solidna, mi je vazda bila dosadna zbog načina na koji je Skot odmotava - sporo, bolno patetično... Ali dobro, nisam ga gledao više od deset godna, možda ako ga sada pogledam mogu da promenim mišljenje.

Ma znam :lol: . Inače, uvjek mi je bilo bezvezna potreba da ne smije da se napiše da nam neki film (knjiga) NIJE legao jer, pobogu, to je klasik. Tako da čak i da je za bilo koga 'Blade Runner' najgori film svih vremena, šta sad? Ništa.
Jedino što mene zanima su razlozi, a ovo napisano može da stoji. Meni film zaista nije razvučen, valjda zato što je slojevit, tako da bi mi bio prenatrpan da je ritam sporiji. Set design je zaista savršen, ali bez priče ne bi značio ništa - upravo to što je u funkciji priče čini da sve ovo funkcioniše. Za roman se slažem: Blade Runner je zaista rađen po motivima Dikove novele, i ja ga tako posmatram. Daleko je od doslovne ekranizacije, ali mislim da to i nije bila namjera. Meni bi ovo bio odličan poklon, ali taj Deda Mraz je nekome majka, a nekome maćeha... Nepravda(b)!

Ja sam o Blade Runneru napisao jedan kilometarski post koji je odnio forumski cunami. Tu sam ga poredio sa nekim od svojih omiljenih filmova, kao što su Doni Darko i Pi. Da li mi se to sve ponovo kuca? Trenutno ne, ali ako neko pokrene temu i nađem vremena, možda.
Da, sve je moguće. Meni slojevitost filma možda nije bila tako značajna jer mi je u prvom planu bila (kvazi)detektivska priča koju na kraju nisam smatrao zadovoljavajuće razmotanom. Možda mi je i smetalo što Dekard ispadne manje više neka vrsta narativnog propa, a ne 'pravi' protagonista (maltene ni jedna značajna akcija za radnju nije delo njegovih ruku), ali to s druge strane donekle i jeste u skladu sa tonom romana... Šta ja znam, kako već rekoh, verovatno treba ponovo da ga pogledam...
Hm, i meni je BR slojevit. I da, oduvek se znalo da je film "based on the book", a da ne prati radnju u knjizi. Dal baca akcenat na prave il pogresne premise knjige, to jeste licni dozivljaj.
Meni film nikad nije bio detektivska prica, al razumem da je nekom bio i to verovatno zbog onog Marloovskog narativnog shita.
Niti mi je Dekart bio ikada mnogo bitan, osim u racunici ukupnog broja replikanata koji su sleteli "pre par dana" posto mi je uvek jedan nedostajao. :lol:
Btw, to su kasnije razvijali u video "igrici", ali kroz drugog, izmisljenog lika.
The best lik u filmu je, of kors, Roy Batty, a kad cujem :"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die." (sto je navodno Rudger sam smislio i improvizovao, nadam se da nije urbana legenda :lol:) raspatetisem se ko malo dete.
Inace, imam BR u raznim oblicima (dvd, divx, vhs...), al jedva cekam januar posto ce tad da mi stigne ono koferce s pocetka price. :D

Moj cijenjeni crnogorski kolega sa niknejmom identičnim filmu o kojem je riječ obratio je pažnju na ono što Meho reče o samom filmu, a preskočio je (ili možda ostavio meni?) njegov suptilan komentar na račun muzike iz tog filma, kao i samog Vangelisa.
Daklem, zaista, ja naprosto jako volim Vangelisovu muziku i on mi je jedan od omiljenih filmskih kompozitora. Još valja cijeniti njegovu sposobnost da od svoje filmske muzike pravi odlične ALBUME, dakle nešto što možete da uturite u diskmen odslušate od početka do kraja potpuno nevezano za prateći film. Najbolji primjer je upravo BLADE RUNNER, album sastavljen od muzike iz filma, muzike napisane za film a nestavljene u isti i muzike inspirisane filmom. Urgeujem svakoga ko nije preslušao ovo remek-djelo da to uradi što prije, dakle da metne slušalice na uši, zatvori oči i lično i bez predrasuda procijeni genijalnost Vangelisove imaginacije. Na ovom albumu sve pršti i od atmosfere i od emocija. Svjestan sam ja da Meho voli džez, ali postoje i ljudi (među kojima sam i ja) koji vole ambijentalnu muziku, a ovo je za njih wet dream. Drugi odličan primjer soundtrack albuma jeste 1492: CONQUEST OF PARADISE. Izvanredan primjer skora koji (to my best knowledge) nije pretočen u album je Donaldsonov BAUNTI (sjajan film, btw.).

TBH, nisam ja neki ljubitelj Vangelisa, ali ne mogu sad da lažem da me nešto specijalno iritira. Više volim Jethro Tull, kad smo već kod toga, ali njegov skor za Blejd Raner je sasvim pristojno parčence muzike koju ne bih baš slušao kod kuće aktivno, ali nije za spaljivanje. 'Ambijentalna' muzika je teško definitljiva kategorija pošto ja ni Vangelisa ni, šta ja znam, Žan Mišela Žara ni druge koje ljudi trpaju u ovu vreću ne doživljavam kao ambijentalnu muziku... Rjuči Sakamoto, možda.
Da, naravno, potpuno si u pravu za definisanje, a ni ja nisam mislio da Vangelisa i Žara svrstam strogo u tu kategoriju (mada imaju određenih komada muzike koji po meni tu spadaju, npr. kod Vangelisa Blade Runner Blues ili ona uvodna tema, kod Jarrea En Attendant Cousteau i dijelovi Equinoxea itd.).

Previdio. Bio sam skoncetrisan na ono da je Blade Runner precijenjen, pa mi je promaklo :). Međutim, nakon par postova posvećenom dotičnom gospodinu, teško da može promicati dalje.
Elem, kao što Harvester zna, postoje velike grupe kao što su AC/DC ili Partibrejkersi koji u čitavoj svojoj karijeri sviraju istu vrstu muzike, pri čemu muzički veoma malo napreduju. Ovo kod stvarno velikih funkcioniše (pomenuti dvojac, veći dio karijere benda R.E.M. (zaključno sa Monster/Up), itd.), dok kod nekih bendova zna da smori (Interpol, Editors, The Strokes). E sad, postoje bendovi koji evoluiraju, bilo nabolje, bilo na gore. Kao školski primjer nabrajam Radiohead, Beatles, dok od domaćih nekako mogu da prođu Darkwood Dub.
U 'ambijetalnoj' muzici koju je teško definisati, Vangelis za mene ima rang Beatles-a upravo zbog raznolikosti svojih radova. The Best of Vangelis je nešto najbesmislenije što čovjek može da kupi. U svojoj višegodišnjoj karijeri koja uključuje preko 20 albuma (bar toliko ih ja imam), Vangelis je svirao bukvalno sve i svašta. Daleko od toga da su sve to remek djela - tu ima neslušljivih gluposti i elektronskog iživljavanja, naročito u ranom periodu njegove karijere, kao i ljigavih pop instrumentala koji kao da su izašli iz klavijature grozomornog Klajdermana. Sa druge strane, u nevjerici sam čitao hvalospjeve novim post-rock ikonama (grupi Battles), koja ima velike šanse da završi kao grupa koja ima najbolji album godine, jer sam ama baš sve to čuo već ranije kod Vangelisa, te mi je njihov album 'Mirrored' sve samo ne originalan. Math rock - izmišljena glupost od muzičkog pravca.
Vangelisova muzika može da se podijeli na više načina. Ako ćemo o čisto klasičnoj muzici, Vangelis je dokazao da je kompozitor na albumu 'Heaven & Hell' koji ima predivnu horsku numeru '12'o clock' u kojoj nije koristio nijedan trik kojim su posezali manje talentovani kompozitori (Žan Mišel Žar i Mike Oldfield included). Glas, hor, na kraju udaraljke i to je sve. Ništa sintisajzer i semplovi. Album na ovom tragu je '1492 - Conquest of paradise' koji je iskompromitovan naslovnom temom koju je svako čuo zilion puta, iako je kompletan veoma dobar. Brajan Eno pasaži prožeti džez elementima prisutni su na jednom od najboljih Vangelisovih albuma, 'L'apocalypse deux animaux', dok na sličan osjećaj ide slabija 'Opera Sauvage'. Kome se sviđa 'Rachel's theme' iz filma 'Blade Runner', ovo su albumi za njega. Čisto 'ambijentalni' Vangelis poznat većini ljudi bi već uključivao albume kao što su 'Albedo 0.39', 'China' i 'Direct', pri čemu 'Albedo' i 'Direct' imaju elektronske stvari na tragu par numera sa 'Heaven & Hell' (čitaj eksperimentalno/ambijentalna muzika, gotovo neslušljiva - koncept doveden do kraja na početku Vangelisove karijere (Earth, Hyphotesis) i na lošem albumu 'Beaubourg')). The Best of od Vangelisa najčešće uključuje slušljive radove sa ovih albuma, mada bi volio da vidim lice onog koji na osnovu 'The Best Of' (ili bar 'Themes'), kupi Albedo i vidi da nakon predivne Alpha (i ambijentalnog klasika kakav je Pulstar), ide nebulozna 'Nucleogenesis (part one and part two)'. Na kraju, tu su i vokalni radovi Jona i Vangelisa, koji variraju od ekstremno jadnih, do odličnih (So long ago, so clear - kao da je ukradena iz filma Legend Ridlija Skota). Najbolji vokalni rad Vangelis je, po meni, imao sa Irenom Papas na grčkom etno (!) albumu 'Odes'.
Sve u svemu, teško je reći 'ne volim Vangelisa'. Ja, recimo, najviše volim Brajan Eno/džez Vangelisa, pa onda 'klasična muzika', pa 'ambijentalnog' i etno, pa neslušljivog, pa 'Joe &...', dok ljigavog (oko 20% njegovog ukupnog stvaralaštva) ne mogu da smislim. Recimo, predvidljive orkestracije na poslednjim albumima su otužne.
Poenta je prosta: Ne može se porediti Vangelis ni sa Žan Mišel Žarom, ni sa Oldfildom, ni sa većinom ambijentalnih muzičara, prosto jer mu je djelo mnogo obimnije i ekstremno muzički različito. Ponekad je to bilo uspješno, ponekad nije, ali čovjek je znatno iznad jednog muzičkog pravca, ne zato što je kvalitetan ili nije (meni jeste), već zato što je na svojih dvadeset i nešto albuma svirao bukvalno sve i svašta. Čak i na generalno slabijim albumima ('The City', 'Mask', 'Oceanic', 'El Greco'), postojalo bi po jedno ili dva remek djela (P.S., 'Intergalactic metalic rain' itd.).
Muzika za Blade Runner? Veoma dobra. Instrumentalni pasaži prilikom poletanja policijskog auta, muzika na početku sa okom, memories of green u ljubavnoj sceni... precijenjeno? Ne, nego jezivo potcijenjeno. Kao i čitav film, uostalom. Pozdrav.

All of these are ported over from previous discs save One for the Fire, but according to editor Michael Felsher, that'll be worth the purchase price ($19.97) on its own. "It's 90 minutes," Felsher tells us, "and it was shot by Rob Lucas and Chris Roe [who first discussed the project here]. Basically, it covers a lot of different aspects of both the film and its legacy. They interviewed pretty much everybody, from George down to Ella Mae Smith, who was a zombie extra from Evans City, PA, and they even got an interview with [late actor] Karl Hardman a few weeks before he passed away. It's a very thorough look at the movie, and has a lot of rare stories that have never been heard before, along with new location footage; they went back to the cemetery and revisited the offices where the film was conceived. It's going to be a plethora of information for the fans to enjoy."
