Denver's U.S. attorney is expected to speak on Tuesday afternoon about the arrests of four people suspected in a possible plot to shoot Barack Obama at his Thursday night acceptance speech in Denver. All are being held on either drug or weapons charges.

One of those suspects spoke exclusively to CBS4 investigative reporter Brian Maass from inside the Denver City Jail late Monday night and said his friends had discussed killing Obama.

"So your friends were saying threatening things about Obama?" Maass asked.

"Yeah," Nathan Johnson replied.

"It sounded like they didn't want him to be president?"

"Well, no," Johnson said.

Maass reported earlier Monday that one of the suspects told authorities they were "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a ... rifle ... sighted at 750 yards."

Law enforcement sources told Maass that one of the suspects "was directly asked if they had come to Denver to kill Obama. He responded in the affirmative."

The story began emerging Sunday morning when Aurora police arrested Tharin Gartrell, 28. He was driving a rented pickup truck in an erratic manner, according to sources.

Sources told CBS4 police found two high-powered, scoped rifles in the car along with camouflage clothing, walkie-talkies, wigs, a bulletproof vest, a spotting scope, licenses in the names of other people and 44 grams of methamphetamine. One of the rifles is listed as stolen from Kansas.

Aurora police alerted federal officials because of heightened security surrounding the Democratic convention, Aurora police Det. Marcus Dudley said.

"Clearly we feel that there are federal implications -- otherwise we would not have notified those agencies," Dudley said Monday night. "The weapons clearly would cause great concern."

Subsequently authorities went to the Cherry Creek Hotel in Glendale to contact an associate of Gartrell's. But that man, identified as Shawn Robert Adolph, 33, who was wanted on numerous warrants, jumped out of a sixth floor hotel window. Law enforcement sources say Adolph broke an ankle in the fall and was captured moments later. Sources say he had a handcuff ring and was wearing a swastika, and is thought to have ties to white supremacist organizations.

Nathan Johnson, 32, an associate of Gartrell and Adolph, was also arrested Sunday morning. He told authorities that the two men had "planned to kill Barack Obama at his acceptance speech."

"He don't belong in political office. Blacks don't belong in political office. He ought to be shot," Johnson told Maass.

"Do you think they were really plotting to kill Obama?" Maass asked.

"I don't want to say yes, but I don't want to say no," he said.

Johnson's girlfriend Natasha Gromek is also under arrest on drug charges.

The Secret Service, FBI, ATF and the joint terrorism task force are all investigating the alleged plot. Dudley didn't say what tied the men together but said more arrests were possible.

Officials with the U.S. Attorney's office in Denver said they do not believe there is a credible threat to Obama or the convention.

"It's premature to say that it was a valid threat or that these folks have the ability to carry it out," said a U.S. government official familiar with the investigation. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing.

U.S. Attorney Troy Eid said the case was under investigation.

"We're absolutely confident there is no credible threat to the candidate, the Democratic National Convention, or the people of Colorado," Eid said in a prepared statement.

Gartrell, who has no known address, was being held at the Arapahoe County jail on $50,000 bail on drug and weapons charges. The jail said he was due in court Thursday.

At last night's Alfred E. Smith Memorial Foundation Dinner in New York City, both presidential candidates delivered pretty funny speeches, taking jabs at each other and themselves.

But while Sen. John McCain's address probably was funnier, Sen. Barack Obama may have scored more points with the nerd crowd with two comics references.

The first came in his opening when he said, "I was thrilled to get this invitation and I feel right at home here because it's often been said that I share the politics of Alfred E. Smith and the ears of Alfred E. Neumann."

The second, and far funnier one, was when he addressed a repeated question from the McCain campaign — "Who is Barack Obama?" — and the mocking, and rather messianic, label "The One."

"Contrary to the rumors you have heard, I was not born in a manger," he told the crowd at the white-tie charity roast. "I was actually born on Krypton and sent here by my father Jor-El to save the Planet Earth."

WASHINGTON – Federal agents have broken up a plot to assassinate Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and shoot or decapitate 102 black people in a Tennessee murder spree, the ATF said Monday.

In court records unsealed Monday, federal agents said they disrupted plans to rob a gun store and target a predominantly African-American high school by two neo-Nazi skinheads. Agents said the skinheads did not identify the school by name.

Jim Cavanaugh, special agent in charge of the Nashville field office for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, said the two men planned to shoot 88 black people and decapitate another 14. The numbers 88 and 14 are symbolic in the white supremacist community.

The men also sought to go on a national killing spree, with Obama as its final target, Cavanaugh told The Associated Press.

"They said that would be their last, final act — that they would attempt to kill Sen. Obama," Cavanaugh said. "They didn't believe they would be able to do it, but that they would get killed trying."

An Obama spokeswoman traveling with the senator in Pennsylvania had no immediate comment.

The men, Daniel Cowart, 20, of Bells, Tenn., and Paul Schlesselman 18, of West Helena, Ark., are being held without bond. Agents seized a rifle, a sawed-off shotgun and three pistols from the men when they were arrested. Authorities alleged the two men were preparing to break into a gun shop to steal more.

Attorney Joe Byrd, who has been hired to represent Cowart, did not immediately return a call seeking comment Monday.

Cowart and Schlesselman are charged with possessing an unregistered firearm, conspiring to steal firearms from a federally licensed gun dealer, and threatening a candidate for president.

The investigation is continuing, and more charges are possible, Cavanaugh said.

Čitav odbor je, međutom, sastvljan od ljudi lovaca na trofeje i nema niti jednog biologa ili naučnika koji se bavi proučavanjem prirode.    Tako je odlučeno da se ove godina istrebi 1400 medveda od populacije koja broji 2000 u regionu zapadno od Enkoridža. Odobreno je i ubijanje 60 posto populacije crnih medveda i to i majki i mladunaca.

   Mada biolozi od 1960. znaju da zveri u stvari održavaju populaciju koja im je plen u zdravlju (stradaju samo slabije, a najjači opstaju) vukovi i medvedi Aljaske se masovno istrebljuju ( i to mamcima, zamkama i ubijanjem iz vazduha) sve u cilju da se poveća populacija losova koji su u opadanju.

   Tako je i Pejlin podržala kampanju za ubijanje vukova iz vazduha. Iako je ovaj predlog čak i od strane lovaca dva puta odbijen i dva puta se protiv njega glasalo u lokalnoj skupštini, Pejlin se sa državnim novcem (protivno zakonu) uključila u kampanju lobirajući za ovaj program.

    Namerno se čak i slikala u jeku polemike na kauču svoje kuće sa ubijenim medvedom koga je odstrelio njen otac. Sliku je objavio lokalni Dejli Njuz iz Enkoridža.  Ona je tako sa pozicije guvernera jasno demonstrirala svoj stav i svoju volju, što je bilo protivno zakonima i uticala na poslanike.

   Tako je državnim novcem izlobirala program za vazdušno ubijanje vukova koji je usvojen avgusta 2008. Evo kako ta računica izgleda: Vazdušni lov iz aviona košta 500 dolara na sat, a više nego duplo je da se iznajmi helikopter. Matematički za ubijanje 800 vukova ubijenih iz vazduha avionom,  sa prosekom od 4 sata lova da se ubiju (što se smatra najmanjim vremenom) to je najmanje 1.6 miliona dolara troška. Helikopterom duplo skuplje. Plus potrošenih 400 000 dolara na obuku koje je Pejlin odobrila, takođe, iz budžeta. Koliko je siromašnih ljudi Aljaske mogla da se nahrani sa tim novcem? Mnogo više. Ali, to se zove politička demagogija.   Naravno, i za Pejlinove je bolje da avioni lete i troše naftu. Zarada ide i u njihov džep. Iz istog razloga ona želi da otvori Arctic National Wildlife Refuge za kopanje nafte. "Drill, baby, drill!", bio je slogan ove kampanje.

   Odobrila je 2007. godine i ubijanje grizli medveda nastanjenih u nacionalnom parku Katmaji gde su dolazili turisti iz čitavog sveta da bi ih slikali.

   Sara Pejlin traži od federalne vlade i da izostavi polarne medvede sa liste ugroženih vrsta. Zašto? Zato što bi to moglo omesti naftnu industriju od stvaranja profita i kopanja Aljaske , a što je i glavni izvor prihoda porodice Pejlin.

Da sve bude onako kako nije pobrinuo se i uticajni Vogue magazin koji je objavio slike lepe aljaske guvernerke, Sare Pejlin, u romatničnom divljem ambijentu "netaknute" aljaske prirode (levo). Nije se slikala ispred naftovoda i rudnih bušotina, u ambijentu koji bi je prikazao u pravom svetlu. Aljaska je jedno veoma lepo i romantično mesto za ljude i životinje. The United States likes to portray itself as the bastion of freedom and champion of democracy, but if this were really true then there would be at least 6 or 8 different parties to choose from at election time, and given that it is now a country of over 300 million people a choice of at least 10 different parties would be more appropriate, but instead there are just two. Why is this? The reason comes down to the "concentration of power" issue that we addressed in an earlier article with respect to corporate American and the systematic disenfranchisement of its population. The reality is that the two remaining political parties, the Democratic and Republican parties are in fact one, and the only reason that the ultimate step is never taken and the parties merged is that with one party to vote for and an election being completely superfluous, even Joe Sixpack would realize that he is living in a dictatership. So the 2 remaining parties continue to dumbbell around each other for ever, maintaining the thinnest facade of democracy, and controlling the country for their elitist masters via their duopoly of power.


The plutocratic elites who control the United States and both the Democratic and Republican parties also have complete control over the media, whose job it is to maintain the illusion of democracy, especially during the farcical circus of the election campaign. They do this by playing up contrived and trivial differences between the parties and by playing up personalities who the voting public can identify with, a recent example of this crude but effective approach being the Alaskan Hockey mom Sarah Palin suddenly being thrust forward into the limelight, and intended to provide a counterpoint to the sagging old man who would be President, John McCain. At a time of life when he should be content to sit in a rocking chair on his front porch, and dead head the roses and perhaps give occasional advice to troubled young people, McCain intends to try to run a country of 300 million people. He looks like one long haul flight would finish him off. Although Obama would seem to be the better choice for President, on account of his youthful energy, generally positive dynamic attitude and eloquent use of English, the sad fact is that he is in the pockets of his plutocratic masters just as McCain is and must end up doing their bidding - if he wasn't his funding would have dried up and he would have been run into a ditch long ago. So with both parties and both candidates completely compromised and representing the same vested interests, it is clear that voting will accomplish absolutely nothing and change nothing - it is a complete and utter waste of time. The entire election campaign is a charade whose real purpose is to maintain the elites' stranglehold on power, whilst at the same time maintaining the illusion that the US is a free and fair society, but otherwise it is a total waste of time and energy.

It is always good to end an essentially gloomy article on a positive note. Whoever wins the election and becomes the next President has got to be an improvement on the crass and imbecilic George W Bush, who only got the job through extreme corruption and graft. If nothing else, election day does provide a chance to socialize and may even present the opportunity for single readers to find a partner. The following chat up lines are tentatively suggested...

Male voter in line to female voter: "You do realize this is a complete waste of time don't you? - we won't change anything..."

Female voter: "Well, yes, but what the heck..."

Male voter: "Might I suggest that we go back to my place and try something a lot more meaningful"...

Praćenje masovnih medija u Americi pred ove izbore pruža vam jedan depresivan doživljaj o stanju u američkom društvu. Koja je slika koju svako od nas ima o američkim medijima? Energični privatni preduzetnici, senzacionalisti željni tiraža i ekskluzive, prate svaki trag, spremni su da unište svakog političara ako nađu neki osnov za to, niko ne može mirno da spava od njih. To je zemlja u kojoj štampa može da smeni predsednika, tj. natera ga da podnese ostavku, kao Niksona.

Ali, džaba ćete tragati na stranicama NYT ili WP ili na programima CNN i durgih mreža za jednom jedinom kritičkom notom o Baraku Obami, kandidatu koju je prava pozivnica za sva bezobrazna njuškala (videti pod Ayers, Rezko, Wright, ACORN, itd itd). No, u njegovom slučaju mediji su neverovanto pitomi. Funkcionišu kao servis u kampanji, koji pokriva i zataškava sve njegove brljotine i problematične stvari, i dijabolizuje i proglašava rasistom svakog ko se usudi da ga iz bilo kog razloga kritikuje. Pogledajte samo jednu činjenicu, koja upućuje da je potrebno ne samo neko novinarsko njuškalo, već vrlo verovatno i Bob Vudvord. Barak Obama najverovatnije nije rođen u SAD, što ga po slovu Ustava automatski diskvalifikuje za mesto predsednika. Philipp J. Berg, advokat iz Filadelfije i pristalica Hilari Klinton je tužio Obamu jednom sudu u Pensilvaniji, tražeći da ovaj obezbedi izvod iz knjige rođenih (pošto je navodno rođen na Havajima). Obama se izvlači na sudu na tehnikalije, tvrdeći kako nije u nadležnosti tog suda da raspravlja o ovom pitanju. Znimljivo pitanje - ako je zaista rođen tamo što ne pokaže izvod nego se izvlači? U međuvremenu se na sajtu Obamine kampanje pojavila elektronska kopija dokumenta koji je predstavljen kao njegov izvod iz knjige rođenih. Ali, odmah su mnogi počeli da ga sumnjiče, uključujući i stručnjake. Uočeno je recimo da dokument po formatu ne odgovara izvodu kakav je u vreme njegovog rođenja izdavan na Havajima, i da nema pečat. Kasnije se ispostavilo da je "izvod" običan faklsifikat koji je jedan Obamin pristalica "kreirao" i štampao na laserskom štampaču! Povučen je sa sajta! Dalje, Obamina majka se vrlo brzo po Barakovom rođenju razvela od njegovog oca i udala za Amerikanca indonežanskog porekla, sa kojim su kasnije prešli u Indoneziju. Filip Berg je obezbedio dokaze da je Obama bio upisan u indonežansku školu pod imenom Bari Sojero, dakle pod prezimenom svog očuha. Da bi neko u to vreme išao u školu u Indoneziji morao je da ima indonežansko državljanstvo, i ni jedno drugo (njihov zakon nije dozvoljavao dvojno državljanstvo). Po američkom zakonu, Obama je tada izgubio američko držaljanstvo i sada ne može da bude kandidat. Jednostavno pitanje - ako sve ovo nije tačno, zašto Obama ne pokaže original izvoda sudu i prekine sve spekulacije, umesto što se izvlači na legalističke smicalice? Jedini logičan odgovor je da sertifikata nema, i da čovek nije rođen u SAD. Ja ću tako misliti sve dok se ne pojavi sa izvodom i pokaže ga. Zašto to ne učini ako je sve desničarska teorija zavere? Najbolji način da se opovrgnu teorije zavere je da se pokaže da nisu tačne.

Stvar koje je meni zapanjujuća u celoj ovoj aferi (i mnogim sličnim vezanim za Obamu) je fenomenalno zataškavanje od strane medija. To se baš ne uklapa u sliku koju svi imamo o američkim medijima. Zar ovo nije bogomdani zadatak za njuškala željna Pulicera? Odmah otići na Havaje i videtei gde je ta bolnica, razgovarati sa osobljem, tražiti izvode drugih ljudi, upoređivati. Otići u Keniju i iskopati sve što se može, uključujući razgovor sa Obaminom babom po ocu koja je izjavila da je bila u sobi gde se mali Barak rodio u Keniji. Otići u Indoneziju i probati da pronađete školu gde je Obama išao, tražiti dokumente o njegovom upisu i saznati da li je ili nije bio indonezijski državljanin. Ništa od svega. Nada. Maca pojela jezik i istraživački elan! Nigde "dubokih grla", tajnih izvora i curenja! Ali, zato su veliki resursi usmereni na spinovanje i istraživanje da li je Sara Pejlin prekršila etički kod kad je otpustila siledžiju,muža svoje sestre iz službe, da li je odeća koju nosi u kampanji njena ili iznajmljena, itd.

Uporedite potpunu i apsolutnu ćutnju glavnih medija o prvorazrednoj senzaciji koju imaju pred nosom sa Obamom, sa recimo energijom svojevremeno uloženom u spionovanje i provere (ispostavilo se falsifikovanog) dokumenta o Bušovoj službi u NAcionalnoj gardi, pa ćete videti o čemu pričam. Koliko bi minuta trebalo glavnim medijima da lansiraju analognu priču o Mekejnu?

Obama će skoro sigurno biti sutra izabran za američkog predsednika, ali uopšte nisam siguran da će biti inaugurisan u januaru 2009. Slučaj Berg v. OBama će pre ili kasnije stići do Vrhovnog suda i Obama će biti prinuđen da pokaže originalni dokument o rođenju, koji će, sklon sam da verujem, pokazati da je rođen u Keniji a ne na Havajima, i da shodno tome, ne može da bude američki predsednik. Ovaj put, međutim, mediji neće oboriti američkog predsednika, već će, kladim se u to, zataškavati i prikrivati stvar sve do poslednjeg trenutka.

Barak Obama pobedio je na izborima za predsednika SAD održanim u Medija centru, u Beogradu, u organizaciji američke ambasade u Srbiji.

Obama je na simuliranim predsedničkim izborima ubedljivo trijumfovao, osvojivši 313 glasova, dok je njegov protivkandidat Džon Mekejn, iz Republikanske partije, dobio samo 43 glasa.

Especially in politics it is of the utmost importance to try to look behind the facade: who makes up the team of the presidential candidate? The future president of the United States of America is for a large part dependent on and being fed by his team of advisors and future cabinet members. Webster Tarpley wrote a book on the men and women behind presidential hopeful Barack Obama. He argues that there is more to Obama than his charismatic appearance and that some of his advisors pose a danger to the US and the world in case Obama might be elected to become the next US president. Whether Tarpleys view is correct for now is a matter of opinion and remains to be seen, but for the public debate it is relevant to take note of his facts and arguments. Therefor DeepJournal interviewed Webster Tarpley on the topic of his recently published book Obama, The Postmodern Coup,The Making of a Manchurian Candidate.

It's Sunday May 11th, my name is Daan de Wit, from Amsterdam, Holland on the phone with Webster Tarpley in Washington DC, USA. Webster Tarpley, you are the author of 9/11 Synthetic Terror – Made in USA, already in it's fourth edition, you are the co-author of George Bush, the Unauthorized Biography. You go way back covering the news behind the news and you just published Obama, The Postmodern Coup, The Making of a Manchurian Candidate. Now the Herald Tribune a few days ago said it is clear the race is over, same thing was clear to Arianna Huffington from the Huffington Post last Friday on Democracy Now. She talked about a 'lost cause'. Is Hillary out of the race and is Obama going to be the candidate?
Webster Tarpley, This is a hysterical media campaign by the controlled media. We've got the biggest brainwash going that we've ever had. These are all polls and they're agreements of various polls, in other words more than one poll shows this. The US Intelligence Community penetrates the news organisations like mad and most of these organisations are now owned by the same bankers who want to put Obama in a kind of dictator.
-I have always wondered, where do these candidates for presidents come from? Is there a grooming process? You actually say Obama has been recruted by Zbigniew Brzezinski as a student on Columbia University?
Webster Tarpley: Yes. This is the interesting about Obama's biography, that he has these lost years and the lost years where nobody knows anything about what he was doing, we're not even sure where he was. 1981, 1982, 1983 his last two years in college. He was a Junior and a Senior at Columbia University, actually Columbia College at Columbia University in uptown Manhattan, Morningside Heights. He had started his career at Occidental College near Los Angeles after going to a very expensive private school in Hawaii, the Punahou School. If you go back to 1981, 1982 - you can do this with the help of Samuel Huntington's Book on American politics, which I quote in my own book, which is called Obama, The Postmodern Coup, the Making of a Manchurian Candidate. If you look in here you will see that they were already sort of summing up their experiences under Carter and they were looking ahead. Huntington is explicitly looking ahead to 2010 and 2030, in other words he believes that there's gonna be a crisis of ungovernability, what he called the 'creedal passion period'. Political upsurge and economic breakdown perhaps. All of this starting around 2010, which is now where we are, we have reached that point.
My guess is that Obama was recruted by Brzezinski at Columbia 1981, 1982, 1983. You cannot notice this positively, because Obama in his memoires, he has got this thing called Dreams from my Father, he tells you everything about himself, he tells you about marihuana, cocaine, almost heroine, but not quite, tells you all this stuff, but when it comes to Columbia University he tells you nothing. It's exactly puzzling, because why would he tell you about marihuana and cocaine, which are bad and than not tell you about his career, with this wonderful Ivy League prestigious elite Columbia University, he doesn't say anything about it.
The same thing is what The New York Times found. The New York Times, trying to do the life of Obama, they focused on his years in New York City, because they're from New York and they couldn't find anything. They couldn't find out what courses he took, who his friends were, anything that he did, he doesn't seem to be in the yearbook, it's all very strange. Chicago Tribune which is very, very favourable to Obama did the same thing, could not find anything about those years at Columbia. Now they're two possibilities. One is that he's hiding homosexual activity. Obama, I think, is pretty well established to be a bi-sexual, he's accused by Larry Sinclair of homosexual encounters with crack-cocaine. We can talk about that in a minute. But I think the deeper level is what he's covering up in terms of his contacts with Brzezinski.
Obama was a politic's major with his speciality in international relations and a thesis topic that was Soviet nuclear disarmament. Now that has Brzezinski written all over it. In those years Brzezinski was on the campus at Columbia, he was the head of the Institute of Communist Affairs, an anti Soviet thinktank. It seems to me extremely likely that he was recruted by Brzezinski at that point. Meaning that he has been indoctrinated for 25 years. If this is not true, I would invite Obama to tell us the full story of his years at Columbia and he has said zero. No friends, no professors, no transcript, no nothing. It is the biggest obsessive secrecy that we've seen. It's comparible to, you know Bush has tried to hide his drunk driving record. In this case Obama won't let you know what he did at Columbia. He should be saying, 'Oh I'm proud, I was an A-student, I wrote this wonderful thing', the highlight of his early career was to go to Columbia. So, he doesn't do that. What this means then is: 25 years of indoctrination and grooming. With Carter they only had 5 or 6 years at most. They're from 1970, 1971, 1972 until 1976 when he won the presidency. In the case of Obama I think you're looking at a 25 year process where they were guiding his career.
And than if you look at these people around him, he's got the Trilateral-Commission through Brzezinski, he's got the Bilderberger-Group through Joseph Nye. Joseph Nye is the North American Director of the Trilateral Commission and a big wheel of the Bilderberger Group. Joseph Nye writes the books about 'soft power', because that's what we're talking about. They say: We don't mean military invasion, we need soft power, we need subversion ideology, cultural warfare, economic warfare and diplomacy, meaning to play one against another divide and conquer and so fort. Joseph Nye is a big supporter of Obama on the Huffington-blog with that awful right wing Greek woman. Other than that we got the Ford Foundation, the Council of Foreign Relations through Brzezinski and the rest of them. The Chicago School, this is interesting.
Obama's economic team, there's a guy called Austin Goolsby, who is a professor of economic's at the University of Chicago, this means he belongs to these infamous Chicago boys founded by Milton Friedman. They say: Government is the problem, smash big government and let the market work. And Goolsby has been on television saying that the Obama campaign respects the market much more than mrs. Clinton. Mrs. Clinton has called for a stop on forclosures to prevent people from been thrown out of their house. Goolsby says: No, that interferes with the market. Mrs. Clinton said: Let's lift the gasoline tax on the public and switch the taxation to Exxon Mobil and BP and Chevron and make them pay out of there super profits that they got in speculating in the oil market. These companies are now bringing in 10 billion dollars each every three or four months, so that's obscene super profits. Goolsby says: No, we can't touch any of that. Goolsby is also the guy who was caught negotiating with the Canadians telling them don't mind what Obama says about free trade: He's a free trader, I'm a free trader, we gonna have more free trade sell outs. The North American Free Trade Zone is gonna be preserved and expanded, so don't listen to what he said, he's just demagoguing the issue for these poor little unemployment workers at Pensylvania and Ohio. So, that's Goolsby. So Goolsby is a member of Skull and Bones. If you want an administration without Skull and Bones you better not pick Obama, because his main economics guy is from Skull and Bones and from this Chicago School, so Goolsby is a free trader.
You also got another couple of people with Obama on the economic side who have talked about privatising Social Security. That would be exactly what Augusto Pinochet did in Chile under the guidance of the Chicago School. So Obama's economists are real right wingers. I mean, they're practicaly in the Bush camp when it comes to economics. So if you look at al this together, the idea that Obama is somehow different from the stuff you've seen under Bush, it's not true. He's more aggressive than Bush when it's comes to bombing Pakistan. He's just as reactionary on things like Social Security. But he does it with this left cover and of course the way he does it is the style of the utopian, messianic rethoric, hope 'I can bring you together, I can overcome partisan divisions'.

If you look at those themes; those are the typical themes of the young Mussolini.

People don't remember what fascism was, I am afraid. A lot of people think, especially here in the U.S. where people are ignorant, people believe that fascism is a purely top down phenomenon. When they think of fascism, they think of something like a dictatorship of Bush Cheney that becomes more and more oppressive, more and more intrusive, more and more totalitarian, more and more dictatorial. That is not fascism. You would not need a new word for that. Fascism is the march on Rome; fascism is the storm troopers fighting in the streets. It is a gutter and street level movement; it is a grass roots movement that has anti-authoritarian cover, anti-parliamentary, anti-congress cover. It has left cover. Mussolini of course was a revolutionary socialist and a lot of people in his movement were left wingers, you now, extreme trade union activists, syndicalists and stuff like this.

-So that is why you compare him in your book cover with Mussolini, Obama?

Well absolutely yes.

-You describe the neocons as lame ducks. Yet Seymour Hersh of the New Yorker, Scott Ritter, the former weapons inspector, Phil Giraldi who writes 'War with Iran may be closer than you think'. They all expect a war with Iran between now and January when Bush leaves. How about that?

I think there are a couple of things that are working here. One is pure disinformation. There is obviously a great desire to keep people thinking in the old ways. And the old ways is to think that Bush, Cheney and the neocons are the main enemy. They are not. They are now in the process of being ushered out the door. I'll just give you a couple of examples. The Iraq Study Group of December 2006 with Baker and Hamilton essentially said: 'We are not going to attack Iran , what we want to do is recruit Iran and Syria for our own projects'. And at the end of last year, the year 2007, we had a National Intelligence Estimate that said: There is no Iranian nuclear program. It is not there. In the meantime...

-But since then a lot happened, and now the rhetoric...

I don't know, I don't think anything has happened. What I'll say is the British; the British have signaled who the new enemy is, with the [Alexander] Litvinienko story and the [Anna] Politkovskaya story, both created by Boris Berezovsky - a Russian oligarch working for British intelligence – they have signaled that the new enemy is now the people in Moscow . The other thing is of course... Let's take the key example: I would say the last gasp of the anti-Iranian project was the rogue B-52, which I called attention to. I was putting out warnings against an attack on Iran up to August and into September of last year. The key point was, this rogue B-52 that flew from North Dakota to Louisiana with six live nuclear cruise missiles on board, was supposed to go to the Middle East and attack Iran . It was supposed to take part in that Israeli air attack. The Israelis attacked Syria on September 6, as you recall, and there was supposed to be a U.S. nuclear component against Iran. That was stopped. And it was stopped by personnel on the ground and then as it went up the ladder, the further they went up the ladder, the more resistance they found. To the idea of doing this kind of rogue attack by a network I would assume to be loyal to Cheney. It was stopped.

After that you had Bush's threat of WWIII in the middle of October of last year, and since then I see that the epicenter of confrontation is shifting to other places. And in anyway, I would just point out the absurdity. People say: 'Oh, Bush is going to attack Iran . He might attack Iran , he might attack Iran'. Well, he is already attacking Pakistan. They are bombing Pakistan every day. Pakistan is two and a half times bigger, with nuclear weapons. They may attack Sudan . That is equally plausible. They may attack Burma. And then the other thing is, they have created an insurrection in China, in Tibet which is 25 times bigger than Iran and has thermo-nuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles. Whatever you do to Iran, and this was the logic of the neocons, Iran has zero means of striking the United States. Zero. But once you start messing with China and Russia , you are talking intercontinental ballistic missiles with thermo-nuclear and nuclear warheads and once you are talking about Russia, you are talking about the number one, premier, top nuclear power in the world. So it seems to me that this is infinitely the more dangerous.

I don't have a crystal ball, but it is very interesting that all these left liberals, basically all the names you have mentioned, are the left wing of the U.S. intelligence community, or at least some of them. Hersh certainly is, some of them represent a kind of right wing of the U.S. intelligence community. But Obama is the candidate of the U.S. intelligence community in toto. If you don't believe that, just turn on an American television station and you will see what is going on. So, I would believe that the scenario has fundamentally changed and that people are having a very hard time grasping this. We have got to radically shift our field. What you have seen going on now for the past 18 months to two years is that the field has been shifting. Tony Blair is gone; most of the top neocons have now left the government. They are trying to cash in in the private sector. And you know, you have a whole new crew coming in which are these Brzezinsky types. The Samantha Power-Brzezinsky types, the Soros people, the color revolutions crew, the people power coup crew, and they are on their way in. And that means that the face of U.S. imperialism is indeed getting a facelift.

Let us just for second look at the war aspect if we can. Brzezinsky is known for one thing: He hates Russia. He is a passionate, fanatical hater of Russia. The same goes for his son Mark and he has got another son Ian Brzezinsky who is currently a top official in the Pentagon, and Ian Brzezinsky runs John McCain's foreign policy and writes a lot of McCain's foreign policy material. So, interestingly enough, if you don't want a Brzezinsky dynasty, you'd better support Mrs. Clinton. She is the only way you escape having Brzezinsky in the background running the show through one or more of his two sons.
Brzezinsky's hatred of Russia is now this: Brzezinsky looks at the neocons and he says to the neocons: 'You bunglers'. Brzezinsky and Samuel Huntington, his right hand man, says: 'We gave you the clash of civilizations as an idea' and he says: 'What you should have done is to play these different countries one against the other. The essence of imperialism is you don't attack Iraq , you play Iran against Iraq. You don't attack Venezuela , you play Colombia against Venezuela. You don't attack Somalia, you play Ethiopia against Somalia'. 'And ultimately you don't attack Russia ' he says, 'You play China against Russia , or some variation of that'. So the strategy that Brzezinsky has is to say first of all: 'There should be no attack on Iran. There should rather be an effort to turn Iran against the Russians'. And this is realistic, bas ed on the fact that there is a large degree of anti-Russian resentment in the Iranian population. He would also say: 'You can probably turn Syria against Russia at the same time'.
But now the heart of Brzezinsky strategy is this. Brzezinsky looks at China. And he says: 'China can be manipulated through their raw material and oil dependency on Africa, and in particular Sudan. We know that now Sudan is supplying 7, 8% maybe of China 's oil needs, petroleum, in general. Brzezinsky would say: 'What you have to do first of all is kick the Chinese out of Africa. That is why Bush went to Africa, that is why the U.S, is creating a new Africom, U.S. African command, probably in Ethiopia. That is why you have Al Qaeda in Algeria, Tunesia and Morocco to help this destabilization. You've got the campaign against Mugabe. You got a quasi civil war in Kenya , you've got destabilization in Chad, and most of all you've got this attempted coup now. In the last couple of days there was an attempted bloody coup in Khartoum , Sudan , undoubtedly piloted by these Brzezinsky forces.
So the first step of this is to use Obama as the facelift of U.S. imperialism; a new face for U.S. imperialism in Africa specifically, to kick out the Chinese. At the same time you've got a campaign to dest roy Pakistan as a state, as a nation. And that is being done through bombing now, demanded by Obama, and now going on; a bombing of so-called Al Qaeda bas es in northern Pakistan. It is a very interesting story.

Originally back in the middle of last year, Obama said he wanted to bomb Pakistan without consulting the Pakistani government. Bush said no, McCain said no, Clinton said no. Obama is the most aggressive warmonger of the entire Democratic field. And guess what? Even though Bush said no last year, the US has now been bombing Pakistan without consulting Musharraf or the Pakistani government, in January, February, March, and I belief now into April and May of this year. So he is getting what he wants. The goal here of course is not Al Qaeda, this is a fairytale, but it is to destroy Pakistan . And why? Because Pakistan is a traditional ally of China , an important economic partner of China.
You've also then got this insurrection in Tibet which is being fomented by the US . This is now Gene Sharp and the Albert Einstein Institute. These Tibetan monks, these crazies – and they are terrorists and killers – they were trained in Burma . You've also got in the meantime a possibility for a US humanitarian invasion of Burma , carried out under left cover: No longer will they say "You're a terrorist". They will say "You have a humanitarian emergency and your government is incompetent and therefore we're gonna invade you". The ultimate goal I think in the short run, is to have a color revolution revolution or an tempted coup in Beijing in this summer under the cover of the Olympics.

Now, the endgame is the following. Once you have stripped China of all of its allies, cut off their supply of oil and raw materials, destroyed any economic partners that they have, you've got China isolated. At that point the US will essentially say to China : "If you want oil, you go get it in Eastern Siberia ." In other words: To force the Chinese under a weakened government to try to look for oil and raw materials on Russian territory.

The oil wells of Eastern Siberia are of course there – they are very significant. There are very few Russians, lots and lots of oil, lots and lots of minerals. And that is Brzezinski's strategy.
Now, I would point out, this is pure insanity. This goes back to what the British did with Hitler. In the 1930s, the British basically said: "Well, we have Hitler. Let's play Hitler against Stalin, let's play Germany against Russia and destroy both of them that way." Traditional imperialism. The problem is that this thing is going to blow up in Brzezinski's face because both Moscow and Beijing know exactly what Brzezinski is doing. And if they didn't know I have told them now in my book, which is circulating in Moscow and also in Beijing.

So this is a hopeless task. And the goal of course is that the crisis of imperialism has entered a qualitively new phase: We've had Bear Stearns. We've had banking panic in California last August. We've had Northern Rock in the autumn of last year. Now we've had the panic run on Bear Stearns. We've had the dead agony of the US-dollar. We've got dollar hyperinflation, heating up with oil at $126 a barrel. The whole structure of Anglo-American finance is in deep trouble. What they need to do is to find ways to destroy enemies in a much cheaper way and at the same time to qualitively increase the austerity and sacrifice and gauging here on the home front. The credibility of somebody like Bush for any of this is minimal.

Some of the people who support Obama have argued that if we had a false-flag attack inside the United States now, it would no longer be believed. People would say: "It's Bush's fault." That would be the majority. And then a strong minority would say: "Bush, you did it!" So they are actually lamenting. They are saying: We need a change of leadership so we can come back to having the kinds of false flags that we would like to have to manipulate the public. Bush's approval is now at a, I don't know if it's an all-time low but it's at a I think a 30 of 40 year low in the American presidency. He gets about 27% support and that of course would go up with a false flag but it wouldn't go up enough to even make it 50% I would guess. So the ruling class is basically saying: We can't accomplish anything more with these discredited and hated and well known, fully exposed methods of Bush, Cheney and the neo-cons, we've got to radically shift our field.

-You call Obama a Manchurian candidate, a sort of mind controlled man. Why do you do that?

First of all Obama is the most synthetic. He is the most prepared, indoctrinated, and I would indeed say brainwashed candidate that we've had. Obama himself is nothing. He has no legislative record, he has no accomplishments, no commitment, no loyalties. He is essentially an empty slate on which people are invited to project what they think.

His pedigree is first of all the Ford Foundation. The Ford Foundation is of course the institution which more than any other, tries to maintain the existing social order in the United States , which is to say: The dominance over this society by Wall Street, by financier oligarchs and the super rich. So his mother, Stanley Ann Dunham - he had a mother named Stanley which is interesting in itself – his mother was a pro-communist who worked for the Ford Foundation. She was part of the gender equality program of the Ford Foundation. She also worked then for the Word Bank and the US Agency for International Development. Obama himself has worked for the Gamaliel Foundation. This is a counter insurgency operation. It is the Saul Alinsky community organizing foundation of Chicago and the Gamaliel Foundation is a satellite of the Ford Foundation. And the idea with them is organizing community control projects, autogestion, local control on a very very local basis , always with the idea of pitting white against black, against Hispanic, against Asian, against Korean or Chinese or whatever it is, always keeping the population fragmented. On the lowest possible level, very parochial, very local and not allowing therefore a challenge to Wall Street to emerge.

He is also associated, this Obama, with the Woods Fund. And here he sat next to Bill Ayres, the Weatherman terrorist bomber, a professed an unrepented terrorist, an odious personality who I had a chance to observe in the late 1960s inside Students for a Democratic Society. Ayres is somebody who has also promoted Obama's carrier. Ayres hired Obama to become president of the board of the Edinburg – Chicago Challenge, which is yet another foundation funded effort at social engineering and racial conflict inside the Chicago school system. So we've also got the fact that Obama attends a church the pastor of which is now a Ford Foundation scholar, a guy who got his college education thanks to the Ford Foundation, and that is the Trinity United Church of Christ. You must have seen things about this.

You have to because you're dealing with somebody... This is a man who wants to get his hands on the thermo-nuclear button. How in God's name can you allow access to the thermo-nuclear button by someone of whom you know basically absolutely nothing? Someone who consorts with terrorists, who consorts with gangsters like the Mafioso Rezko, and his backer Auchi, when reaching now into the Iraq world of organized crime, the Iraq - Syria mafia with this character Auchi. The only way to know anything about Obama is to look at his advisors and to look at these people around him. And the overwhelming thing you see around him is what I would call 'left CIA'. And let me just try to explain this.

The right-wing CIA is clear to everybody. The right-wing CIA is for example the force that brought you 9/11. You can think of the spectacular terrorist events of 9/11 as a provocation staged by the right-wing CIA in order to get the pretext for war, for attacks in Afghanistan , Iraq and all the rest. T hat is the right-wing CIA. Now there is also a left wing. The left wing is made up of the National Endowment for Democracy, the Brzezinski faction, the Soros foundations and in particularly this institution called The Albert Einstein Institution, with its head Gene Sharp. These are the people who organize color revolutions, coup d'états under human rights cover, invasions under human rights cover and things of this sort.

I just want to add in terms of that church: This Jeremiah Wright is of course a racist provocateur, working in the framework of something called 'Black Liberation Theology'. It's a synthetic religion created by the Union Theologian Seminary in New York and then spread with the help of the Ford Foundation, in order to do what? In order to perpetuate racial conflict. The model of the Ford Foundation is divide and conquer. Play white against black in every conceivable way to prevent the emergence of a class based challenge to Wall Street. And what they've done is take this into the realm of theology and church affairs, knowing the importance of churches in the black community and in the United States.

Practically half of Obama's life he was sitting at Wright's knee, imbibing hatred and the philosophy of racist provocation and indeed, some would say indeed Satanism. He first said he could not denounce him. He said: "I can no more disown him then I can disown my own mother or the black community." That was until the temperature got too high. And once Wright had paraded his insanity [and his racist provocations] at the National Press Club, then, then and only then did Obama finally turn around and separated himself from him or attempt ed to, because he can't. You can't sit at the knee of somebody for 20 years and say: "I'm his disciple, he is my mentor, he is my guru, he is my boss," and then say: "Oh, sorry, it's now expedient for me to break contact."

With Obama, if you look at what his program is going to be, we only have to look Zbigniew Brzezinski's writings on this stuff. When Carter came in, he came in as the candidate of the Trilateral Commission; of David Rockefeller, Zbigniew Brzezinski and Paul Volcker. He turned American foreign policy over to Zbigniew Brzezinski, who then did things like start the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan . Brzezinski systematically provoked it and boasts in his memoirs of having provoked it. Brzezinski also started the Iraq – Iran war, with probably a million and a half dead. So Brzezinski is up there at about three, four, five million dead, just based on what he did in the Carter administration. The other side of it, equally destructive in some ways, Paul Volcker, the Trilateral member who was placed by Carter at the Federal Reserve, raised the interest rate to 22% prime rate, which meant 25 to 30% for many people. That systematically destroyed the industrial infrastructure and fabric of the United States . The steel mills, the chemical plants and every kind of other industries shut down, so that what we've got now is this post-industrial rubble field in most parts of the United States that goes back precisely to the last Trilateral administration.

The trick tough was, that Carter had some idea of Christianity in his head. And Carter would sometimes say: "Well, the austerity these bankers want from me is too much." Brzezinski argues that the American standard of living is still much too high. I would argue that American standard of living has been reduced now by about 2/3 since about say the Kennedy assassination. We've lost 2/3 of the standard of living. Brzezinski says: "No that's still too much. They are opulent," he says, "they are hedonistic, they have monstrous consumption." And Brzezinski says: "This is a problem in the world because people are envious and resentful of this so we're going to lower it even further."

Now, the obvious courses are first of all, a global warming tax, a carbon tax, that will further cut into the standard of living, then probably a Third World solidarity tax. So with Obama they are going to say: "We're gonna teach you now into savage austerity, killer austerity, in the name of the polar bears, the ice cap and the Third World." Now the trick of course is that none of this money will go for the polar bears, the ice cap and the Third World. It will go into the pockets of David Rockefeller, George Soros and other Wall Street thugs, who are running Obama. Because that is what Obama is today, you can look at the cast of characters. It's pretty much the same as Carter: He's got Zbigniew Brzezinski and Mark Brzezinski, that is to say Zbigniew's son who now is on the scene. Zbigniew Brzezinski is the guru of the entire campaign, although efforts are being made to conceal this fact. Brzezinski has put forward the entire profile, the austerity, the globalization and this question of the final showdown with Moscow.

Tesko vreme stiglo na ZS kad je i Scallop krenuo da oftopikuje.  :lol:

Mislim da su ljudi iz senke koji vode USA procenili da im je crni predsednik potreban u ovom trenutku da se završe neke stvari po Africi. Ja očekujem da će na nivou nekoliko desetina godina pojedine afričke države konkurisati za ulaz u USA, tu pre svega mislim na Čad i takve nesrećne delove gde se umire toliko, gde sve propada i gde će ih biti lako preuzeti kada ih ostane 50000 stanovnika. Nebitno šta smera Amerika, ali nešto gadno smeraju.
Izbor crnca je bio nametnut, jadni Amerikanci nisu imali kuda. Kao protivkandidat mu je oličenje Bušove politike koja je dovela Ameriku u agoniju. na drugoj strani, Obamin protivnik u demokratskom taboru bila je ona svraka Hilari. Da su demokrate htele da crnac ne bude predsednik ne bi mu suprotstavili Hilari nego nekog čistokrvnog belca gde ovaj jednostavno ne bi imao šanse.
Sve u svemu, verujem da je predsednik Amerike trideseta osoba koja saznaje šta će izjaviti, odlučiti i kakve poteze povući. Bogati vladari iz senke žele da to i ostanu zauvek.

DŽOZEF BAJDEN UVEK PROTIV SRBIJE

BEOGRAD - Dolaskom Baraka Obame na čelo SAD, za potpredsednika je izabran Džozef Bajden (65), jedan od najiskusnijih spoljnopolitičkih eksperta u Senatu, ali i čovek koji je podržavao intervenciju NATO protiv SR Jugoslavije i nezavisnost Kosova i bio jedan od glavnih pobornika politike uslovljavanja prema Srbiji.

Obamin izbor Bajdena analitičari su tumačili kao odluku smišljenu da ućutka rivalski tabor Džona Mekejna, koji je često kritikovao Obamino navodno neiskustvo u spoljnoj politici. Politikolozi, međutim, ukazuju na to da je Bajden zastupnik ,,hladnoratovske politike" i da je po pitanju Srbije i Kosova zastupao gotovo istovetne stavove kao Obamin rival Džon Mekejn. Eksperti smatraju da postoji realna mogućnost da Obama, iako lično neopredeljen prema Srbiji, odluke o važnim pitanjima u regionu prepusti Bajdenu, koji važi za ,,eksperta za Balkan".

Bajden je, naime, još za vreme rata u BiH bio jedan od najsnažnijih zagovornika zaštite bosanskih muslimana, kroz ukidanje embarga na uvoz oružja, preko vazdušnih napada NATO-a, do sudskog gonjenja ratnih zločinaca. Kada je Klinton došao u Belu kuću 1992, Bajden je bio jedan od glavnih zagovornika američke intervencije u BiH, a posle potpisivanja Dejtonskog sporazuma nastavio je da se zalaže za rušenje Slobodana Miloševića.

Bajden je, takođe, jedan od najvatrenijih zagovornika nezavisnog Kosova. Naime, sa izbijanjem kosovske krize 1998. on se stavio na stranu kosovskih Albanaca. Početkom januara 1999, zajedno sa senatorom Mekejnom, podneo je rezoluciju kojom se predsednik Klinton ovlašćuje da koristi svu neophodnu silu protiv Srbije.

U septembru 1999. Bajden je posetio Kosovo, posle čega je izjavio da OVK treba da preraste u buduću vojsku Kosova.

U novembru 2001, posle razgovora sa tadašnjim premijerom Zoranom Đinđićem, Bajden je izjavio da je Srbija odmakla na putu da postane partner SAD.

U maju 2002. tadašnji predsednik SRJ Vojislav Koštunica je u ,,NIN-u", u tekstu pod nazivom ,,Šta hoće senator Bajden", pored ostalog ukazao na Bajdenov govor 26. septembra 2000. za govornicom Senata, kad se zalagao za zakonsko uslovljavanje američke pomoći Srbiji.

Godinu dana kasnije Bajden je podneo Senatu predlog rezolucije kojom SAD izražavaju podršku pravu stanovništva Kosova da odredi svoju političku budućnost na referendumu.

Ideju o neophodnosti kosovske nezavisnosti Bajden je javno izneo još pre Ričarda Holbruka, istakavši da to za njega znači pobedu muslimanske demokratije, bolju budućnost jugoistočne Evrope i potvrdu upotrebe američke moći u cilju uspostavljanja vladavine prava.

Posle jednostranog proglašenja nezavisnosti Kosova Bajden je od predsednika Džordža Buša zatražio da neodložno prizna južnu srpsku pokrajinu kao nezavisnu državu.

Srpski muzičari napravili predizbornu pesmu za Obamu
Nikola i Milan osvajaju Ameriku

U jeku predizborne kampanje u Americi, pesma ,,Change in America" postala je pravi revolucionarni hit. Muzička podloga preko koje repuje tadašnji kandidat Barak Obama privukla je brojne pristalice novog predsednika Amerike, a izborni štab koristio je ovu pesmu kao deo kampanje.

Interesantno je da su ovu numeru uradili Nikola Radan i Milan Kovačev, muzičari iz Srbije, koji dugi niz godina žive i rade u Bostonu, a njihova grupa zove se ,,Clash of Civilizations".
- Naša saradnja traje dugi niz godina - uskoro će biti deset, a sama ideja oko projekta ,,Clash of Civilizations" začeta je pre dve godine. Tome su prethodili naši brojni muzičko-politički dijalozi. Obojica aktivno pratimo politička zbivanja kako u svetu, tako i u Srbiji, te je ideja o ,,Sudaru civilizacija" bila prosto idealna za stvaranje muzičkog projekta koji bi imao svoj autorski pogled na istu - pričaju Nikola i Milan, dvojac koji čini okosnicu grupe.

Kako ste došli na ideju da napravite pesmu ,,Change in America"?
- Ideju za ovu pesmu dobili smo u januaru nakon što smo čuli Obamin govor u Nju Hempširu, u predizbornoj kampanji. Njegovi govori su fascinantni, i to ne samo zbog njegove poruke nego i zbog načina na koji govori. Puni su ritmike i melodike, a pošto je jedna od naših osobenosti upravo korišćenje predsedničkih govora, u žargonu ,,repovanja" - naprosto su se stvari poklopile. Pesma ,,Change in America" (promena u Americi) nastala je kada niko nije ni pretpostavljao da Obama ima šanse da bude izabran za predsedničkog kandidata Dmokratske partije, a kamoli za predsednika SAD.

Kako je došlo do toga da se numera koristi u predizbornoj kampanji i kakve su reakcije javnosti?
- Kada smo završili miks, stavili smo ,,stvar" na internet i dali je Obaminim simpatizerima da je besplatno koriste. Pesma je u toku mesec dana postala hit i započela je svoj vlastiti život, te je tako napravljeno i nekih desetak video verzija ,,Change in America" od strane njegovih simpatizera. Komentari su bili fascinantni: od toga da je najbolja politička pesma, do pohvala da je song doneo inspiraciju milionima i da će ući u istoriju. U svakom slučaju, naš izbor je na kraju bio izbor cele Amerike.
Da li ste možda dobili povratnu reakciju direktno od Baraka Obame?
- Od Obame direktno ne, ali njegov izborni štab nam se duboko zahvalio nekoliko puta na podršci i pesmi.

Objavili ste EP izdanje ,,Legacy" na kome se nalazi pet takođe interesantnih pesama.
- To izdanje je dobilo ime po pesmi ,,Legacy", to jest ,,Zaostavština", u kojoj smo koristili semplove istorijskih govora četiri bivša američka predsednika: Kenedija, Kartera, Forda i Regana. Dvojica demokrata i dvojica republikanaca, a želeli smo da skrenemo pažnju na važnost odluka koje se danas donose i na njihov uticaj na generacije koje dolaze. Vizuelno je to prikazano i u spotu na našem sajtu www.clashofcivilizationsmusic.com. Takođe, na albumu je i pesma ,,Hirošima" u kojoj smo koristili semplove predsednika Trumana iz radijskog obraćanja javnosti 1945, a kao antipod njemu upotrebili smo semplove tradicionalnog japanskog carskog orkestra iz iste godine kada je bomba bačena. Pesma ,,Aja Sofija" istražuje sudar islama i hrišćanstva koji je, nažalost, i danas aktuelan. Pesma ,,Metamorphosis" ima za refren melodiju iz 15. veka koju je napisao kompozitor Ali Ufki, koji je inače, preveo Bibliju na turski jezik i napisao više radova o islamu na latinskom jeziku u cilju zbližavanja dveju religija.

Sarađujete sa brojnim muzičarima.
- U našem projektu učestvuju muzičari iz Amerike, Japana, Irana, Izraela, Turske, sa Kipra i iz Srbije, a koji trenutno žive u Bostonu ili Njujorku. ,,Roots magazine", vodeći britanski časopis za ,,world music", uvrstio je EP ,,Legacy" u izbor 10 najboljih albuma za kraj godine.

Uskoro novi album
- Naš novi album sa desetak pesama izaći će za nekoliko nedelja, a ovih dana izlazi klupski remiks ,,Change Has Come to America" ili, u prevodu, ,,Promena je stigla u Ameriku". U tom remiksu smo koristili više Obaminih govora uključujući i onaj koji je održao u Berlinu. Dok je originalna verzija pesme imala za cilj pokretanje pozitivnih političkih snaga u Americi, nova verzija nosi u sebi snažnu političku poruku na globalnom nivo

But if you google "Obama dijon" you'll find way worse than that, including a whole bunch of nitwits claiming that MSNBC "went to great lengths to cover up" this shocking scandal by not including a full condiment audit in their fluff report of the president ordering a fucking burger.

It's funny because I know some of these people genuinely have philosophical disagreements with Obama, but this is still what they come up with to spend time talking about. Bush had the worst attack in our country's history on his watch, badly fought two wars (one started based on obvious lies), dumped our economy into the shitter, made torture legal, wiretapped innocent civilians, used a terrorist attack to force a drastic rewrite of our basic civil rights, shockingly botched the response to a national disaster, etc. etc. etc. And these people weren't upset about any of that shit, in fact they spent the whole time trying to justify it.

But Obama orders "spicy mustard" and they go on TV, on the radio, on websights, with straight faces, pretending to be intelligent adults, and openly claiming to be upset about it. Pretending to make serious arguments for why it is an actual issue. Adults. Who speak in sentences, and know how to put on their own clothes. They don't even wear bibs, and they think they can get away with pretending they actually believe dijon mustard proves Obama is an elitist. They say that out loud and then they look at themselves in the mirror and presumably do not hate themselves. Actual human beings, hundreds of them. Can you believe this shit? I can't. But I didn't make it up.

Their argument is based on a 25 year old ad campaign for Grey Poupon brand dijon mustard, which showed British guys in limos loaning each other Grey Poupon. So Sean Hannity and other adults pretend to believe that that was a documentary expose about the truth behind who uses spicy mustard.

I don't have a TV show, I don't even own a house or a car, but I prefer spicy mustard on my hot dogs. It costs about the same and can be found in any grocery store or 7-11.  It has a cartoon beaver on the bottle. To be fair I guess he is a pretty classy cartoon beaver though. Probaly well bred.

There's something else I really wonder about. There are millions of people who watch Fox news and listen to these radio shows and what not. People who really believe this stuff. You cannot tell me that there aren't at least 500,000 people in this country who both follow Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or some of those guys, and enjoy dijon mustard. How do they feel listening to this? Do they feel ashamed? Do they feel they have to hide their taste in condiments? If past patterns of Republican bigotry have taught us anything it's that the loudest critics of spicy mustard are the ones secretly enjoying it in airport bathrooms and at rest stops. I bet it is widely known in DC that many Republican senators take their mustard both ways. But nobody's talking.

Sorry for the tangent, sometimes I gotta vent about these things. But man, can you believe Obama? The Republicans blew it so bad they went from controlling the government, the supreme court and the media to being the guy who shit his pants at the party and nobody will admit they invited him. Moja moc rasudjivanja je sasvim solidna, i ne pada lako na osmehe.
Ne gazi drzave ? Koliko vidim, otkako je on vlast odobrene su nove silne milijarde
dolara za ratove u Iraku i Afganistanu. Rat se sve vise prenosi i u Pakistan, cije
pogranicne delove Obamine trupe takodje bombarduju. Krizu sa Severnom Korejom
je zaostrio do usijanja, jer ih davi sankcijama. Rusima se tera inat, drze se vezbe
NATO u Gruziji. On unapred izjavljuje, ko god pobedi u Iranu, rezim ce biti neprijateljski prema SAD.

Da se razumemo Mekejn bi bio jos gori, i sigurno ratoborniji, ali to nije razlog da ne
kritikujem ovog. Sve to u istu tikvu duva, uz manje razlike.

Obama il' neko drugi kao predsednik - manje-vise je isto, bar na spoljnopolitickom planu. Jer americka vojska mora negde da prodaje oruzje i mora na nekom da ga isprobava. Vojnoindustrijski kompleks je gadan balast za SAD, a tu zivotinju treba nahraniti.

Mene mnogo vise zanima kakav je Obama na unutrasnjem planu, i hoce li se s njim kao predsednikom zemlja izvuci iz recesije, to cemo videti. Mislim da ce mu to biti glavna proba. Lako je prodavati svakojake price kad su ljudi siti, imaju zdravstveno osiguranje, zaposlenje i redovno primaju platu. Medjutim, u Americi sada ne cvetaju ruze.

Snimili su crtani film o Obami   :). Predstavljen je kao superheroj, neka
kombinacija Supermena i Betmena. Ubija teroriste, pirate, bori se protiv globalnog
zagrevanja, i spasava svet.
Ceo taj cirkus oko njega ga cini klovnom, ok ne kazem, mozda on s tim nema
nikakve veze, ali sve to svarno deluje suludo.
Dobro da crtic nije snimljen desetak godina ranije, tada bi verovatno Obama
kokao zle, bradate Srbe..

Obama expects support for more Afghanistan troops

WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama expects Americans to support more U.S. troops in Afghanistan once they understand the perils of losing, and he is preparing to make his case to the nation next week.
Eight years after the Sept. 11 attacks led the U.S. into Afghanistan, Obama said it is still in America's vital national interest to "dismantle and destroy" al-Qaida terrorists and extremist allies. "I intend to finish the job," he said.
Obama said he would announce after Thanksgiving his decision on additional troops, and military, congressional and other sources said the occasion would be a Tuesday night televised speech laying out his plans for expanding the Afghan conflict — and then ultimately ending America's military role.
Republican critics have been pressing him for months to decide on a next step in Afghanistan, but Obama has said repeatedly he was more concerned with making a decision that was right rather than quick.
Neither he nor his advisers has detailed an exit plan, but the strategy he is expected to describe next week would include specific dates that deployments could be slowed or stopped if necessary, a senior military official said. The official and others spoke on condition of anonymity because the decision was not final.
With U.S. combat deaths climbing on Obama's watch and more than half the American public opposed to escalation, the president seemed to acknowledge Tuesday that he has a lot to explain.
"I feel very confident that when the American people hear a clear rationale for what we're doing there and how we intend to achieve our goals, that they will be supportive," he said, speaking at a White House news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"I can tell you, as I've said before, that it is in our strategic interest, in our national security interest to make sure that al-Qaida and its extremist allies cannot operate effectively" in the area, he said. "We are going to dismantle and degrade their capabilities and ultimately dismantle and destroy their networks. And Afghanistan's stability is important to that process."
Military officials expect an infusion of approximately 32,000 to 35,000 troops to begin in February or March, the largest expansion since the beginning of the war and one that could bring the cost above $75 billion annually.
Returning to a campaign theme, Obama said the Afghan effort had been starved for resources and attention during the Bush administration and he intended to finish the war.
To that end, much of the White House discussion during months of deliberations has centered on how the U.S. would end its military role.
Obama held his 10th war council meeting Monday evening, and officials said it was his last. Military officials have said Obama is choosing one of the least risky options he was presented, but one still expected to lead to increased U.S. casualties without guarantee of success.
War commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal has warned that the war risks failure without a large troop infusion. Although he preferred a higher figure — about 40,000 — McChrystal is expected to tell Congress next week that this lesser addition still gives him the tools to better combat insurgents in the south and east of Afghanistan.
The expected increase would include at least three Army brigades and a single, larger Marine Corps contingent, officials said.
Both Democrats and Republicans in Congress has been miffed that the administration blocked McChrystal from testifying during what many Republicans considered an inordinately long decision-making period. His testimony has not been scheduled, but would probably come late next week or early in the week after.
Among others likely to take part in congressional hearings are Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert Gates, Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Adm. Mike Mullen and U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Karl Eikenberry. All were among about 20 officials and advisers participating in the president's final deliberations Monday night — one of the biggest groups gathered for these sessions.
The administration figures will have a tough sell among some congressional Democrats, including Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman Carl Levin, D-Mich., who has questioned the value of adding forces and pointed to the war's rising cost.
The Afghan war bill hit $43 billion annually this summer, with the addition of 21,000 forces Obama has already added to the fight this year.

Top Cuban official says Obama lied in Copenhagen

HAVANA – Cuba's foreign minister called President Barack Obama an "imperial and arrogant" liar Monday for his conduct at the U.N. climate conference, a reflection of the communist island's increasingly fiery verbal attacks on the U.S. government.

Bruno Rodriguez spent an hour and a half lambasting Obama's behavior in Copenhagen, telling a news conference, "at this summit, there was only imperial, arrogant Obama, who does not listen, who imposes his positions and even threatens developing countries."

He called the summit "a fallacy, a farce" and said Washington used back-room deals and strong-arm tactics to foist on the world a deal that he labeled "undemocratic" and "suicidal" because it urges — but does not require — major polluters to make deeper emissions cuts.

Rodriguez also said Cuba and other poor nations have refused to recognize the agreement because they weren't permitted to participate in its development.

He singled out comments Obama made during a news conference in Copenhagen, when the U.S. president said no agreement had yet been reached but he was confident one would before the summit ended. "Obama knew he was lying, that he was deceiving public opinion," the foreign minister said.

When asked if Cuba was serious about forging a climate agreement given that President Raul Castro declared Copenhagen a failure days before it ended, Rodriguez said, "Cuba's prestige is well-recognized in international negotiations."

"It was an open secret that countries would not reach an agreement," he said.

Rodriguez would not answer questions about the status of an American citizen who was detained in Cuba on Dec. 5 while working as a U.S. government contractor.

Castro first publicly mentioned the detention Sunday, when he told the Cuban Parliament that the American was arrested for distributing illegal satellite communications equipment.

"The United States won't quit trying to destroy the revolution," Castro said, referring to the armed rebellion that brought his brother Fidel to power on New Year's Day 1959.

"In the past few weeks we have witnessed the stepping up of the new administration's efforts in this area," he said, adding that the arrest "demonstrates that the enemy is as active as ever."

American diplomats in Cuba have requested — but not yet received — Cuba's permission for consular access to the detainee, whose name has not been released. Rodriguez refused to say whether his office would grant the request.

Rodriguez's comments Monday echoed remarks by former President Fidel Castro, who in a weekend opinion column called Obama's speech in Copenhagen "deceitful, demagogic and full of ambiguities."

Last week, the elder Castro, who stepped down as head of state in February 2008, wrote that Washington is looking to solidify its control over Latin America and that Obama's "friendly smile and African-American face" hide his government's sinister true intentions for the region.

Raul Castro over the weekend mentioned recent war games Cuba conducted to prepare for a U.S. invasion and hinted that the contractor's arrest shows further American aggression against his country is a real possibility.

"I just want to note that here we have a people who are ready to protect, at any price, the successes of the revolution," he said. "I'd advise one and all that they cease provocations of this type."

Treba ipak imati u vidu da je većina Amerikanaca glasala za Obamu zbog svih gluposti koje je Bušova administracija činila.

To što Obama nije ispunio obećanja može da bude gore nego što su neki vlastodršci mislili kada su postavljali crnca/i to ne američkog/bivšeg muslimana na čelo države, to ipak znači nešto, čak i na vrhu su se uplašili da ih ne pospreme traktorima neke američke Velje Ilići, i da jedan tip sa takvim imidžom može da ublaži udare ekonomske krize, wikileaks skandala itd, nižeklase/rase će manje da se bune... a to ne može dovijeka tako.

Poslednje što sam čuo je da je Obama za prve izbore dobio pare od Vol strita, i da im je uslugu dobro otplatio.

In a radio interview with local WBT Anchor Tara Servatious, Susan reports that she has been keeping track of the number of votes in North Carolina of individuals over the age of 110 years and apparently we have quite a few, over 410 of the 110 year olds--to be exact-- actually voted via absentee ballot on October the 28th. Uveli su i zakone u nekim državama. Tek stasala mlađarija, stari i nemoćni, kao i siromašni i crnački deo stanovništva će imati poteškoća prilikom registracije, jer je cela poenta registracije da upravo ove grupe budu onemogućene u glasanju.

Ne sećam se više. Bilo je o tome reči u Daily Show-u. Prosto će im nekako onemogućiti tu nešto, ali nemam pojma šta i kako. A i ljude mrzi da se time bakću, to je valjda glavna prepreka, ona u glavi.

Michigan man dies, is revived at poll—and makes sure he voted

During early voting in Southfield Township in Michigan on Monday, even a near-death experience couldn't keep one elderly voter away from the polls.

Ty Houston was filling out his absentee ballot at the township offices when an elderly woman near him started screaming.

"I was filling out the form as were an elderly couple sitting at a nearby table," Houston, 48, told the Detroit News on Tuesday. "His wife, who was helping him fill out the ballot, asked him a couple of questions but he didn't respond. She screamed for help, and I went over to see what I could do."

A registered home-care nurse, Houston responded immediately, moving the victim to the floor and assessing the situation. "He was dead," Houston said. "He had no heartbeat, and he wasn't breathing."

He started performing CPR, and a few minutes later the man started breathing again. He had a tracheotomy tube in his throat, but could speak."He knew his name and his wife's name," Houston said.

But the victim's first question after his near-death experience took everyone by surprise. "Did I vote?" he asked astonished onlookers.The man's wife tried to reassure him that it wasn't important, but Houston says the man responded that only two things were important: "That I love you and that I finished what I came here to do—vote."

They checked. He had.

EMS arrived on the scene and took the couple to William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, the Detroit News reported. Though the county clerk, Sharon Tischler, confirmed the event, neither she nor Houston knew the name of the victim or his wife.

Houston said he's glad he decided to vote when he did. "It was God's divine word that I be there," he said. "Originally, I was just going to skip the ballot and just go to lunch that day."

Senior campaign officials said Thursday that the Obama campaign infrastructure - the field offices and network of hundreds of thousands of volunteers - would undergo a period of transition in the coming weeks to determine how to remain sustainable and influential.
"We have remarkable staff, and the campaign that Jim [Messina] put together, you know, is the best in history," said senior Obama adviser David Plouffe. "But the reason those people got involved was because they believed in Barack Obama. It was the relationship between them and our candidate."

I ja sam ga već najavio u temi za Daily Show. Elokventan je, može čoveka da ubedi svojim argumentima, i tako nešto republikanci nisu odavno imali. Problem je što će jednom doći u situaciju da mora da bira za koga će da radi, za narod, ili veliki kapital. Čini se da još nije došao do te tačke.

Елоквенција и аргументи ће после Обмане бити све мање важни, ићи ће се на гимике и не верујем да ће САД у томе бити једини. Нико ме не може разуверити да је гомила америчких црнаца гласала за Обману само зато што је црнац и ни због чега другог. Само се треба досетити па одиграти на карту реално веће популације (женске) од расно-мањинске. Па само неки проценат гласачица да заокружи жену само што је жена и победа је осигурана, тим више што се ту могу убацити разне тлапње о женским правима, већој заступљености жена у политици, итд итд итд. А онда после избора наравно све буде исто, осим што је уместо председника - председница.

Штос и јесте у томе што се неће изјашњавати "наше" жене (мислим, сагиташке, мада би бар једна сигурно гласала за жену само зато што је жена), већ Американке "из народа".

Као што је први црни председник била велика ствар, биће проглашено великом ствари и прва жена председник. Па сећаш ли се "избора пре избора", силне фрке да л' ће се кандидовати Хитлери, да л' Обмана? Више се и не сећам који је Републиканац тад изашао на изборе без шансе да победи.
