Lepa vest je da je Zlatni globus za najbolji animirani film osvojio Spilbergov The Adventures of Tintin.

The Adventures of Tintin je, inače, jako loše startovao u Americi, sa nikakvom zaradom prvih dana i prvog vikenda, što je prirodna posledica nepoznatosti legendarnog Eržeovog strip junaka u USA. Ali izgleda, iako su ga neki prerano proglasili za propast na američkim bioskopskim blagajnama, da se dobra reč pronosila o ovom filmu, pa je Tintin, umesto da brzo pada sa liste gledanosti, uspeo da poboljšava rezultat u kasnijim danima i trenutno je prebacio 70 miliona dolara u SAD. Moguće je da će mu osvajanje globusa doneti još koje milionče.

Ipak, sa zaradom u svetu od 280mil.$, tj ukupnom od 350 miliona (do sada! - samo od bioskopa) - može se reći da je Tintin doživeo zasluženi komercijalni uspeh.
