Nezvanično se pominjao Kikinger ali su producenti najavil da traže novo lice i da će svako moći da se prijavi na audiciju,to jest da nije neophodno da kandidati imaju glumačko iskustvo.Zato i Draško ima pravo da se nada.




Oni se bre idioti preganjaju oko scenarija,prva ruka,druga ruka,sviranje kurcu..
A realno,ako nadju lika koji izgleda kao Konan iz stripa,neće biti ni potrebno da bilo šta priča i glumi-nek samo odseca udove i obara ženske i da NIspel to lepo snimi iz pravih uglova sa dosta krvi i eto hita.

Za svaki od njih dat je detaljan opis traženih fizičkih osobina, karaktera, a kroz scene u kojima će učestvovati čak i prikaz same radnje filma.
Kad pročitate ovo dobijate  pregled maltene celog scenarija iz koga je  očigledno  da izvornog Hauarda nema ni u tragovima.Casting lista deluje kao za neku vrstu varvarske Dinastije-desetogodišnji  Konan,mladi Konan,Konanovi ćale i keva,Konanova devojka-Tamara  ,Glavni negativac Turčin  , njegov sin, pa onda monah,čarobnjak,Kinez vođa lopova,Crnja ratnik,Ciga piratski kapetan,tu su i Pikti naravno...

Young Conan saves him from the Khalar's raid on Cimmeria. When given a chance to fight for his homeland, Artus flees to save himself.

Conan plot synopsis released!
Here we are, after years of waiting and struggle. The plot synopsis for the new Conan Movie has been leaked out into the public by dreadcentral. As we could suspect after this ridicolous casting call this is absolutely hilarous.
Enjoy!... Or.. do it like i do, cry. (Please excuse any typo, i was laughing and crying while i am writing this  )

Amidst a raging sword battle on the icy fields of Cimmeria, a child is bom, cut out of his mother's womb by his father, CORIN. With her last breath, she names him CONAN. The young boy quickly proves himselfan innate if impulsive warrior. The young warrior is inquisitive about the outside world, and while his father tries to shield him, in time the world comes to their doorstep.
KHALAR SINGH, a powerful warlord, arrives with his band of mercenaries, demanding not gold or steel, but one woman from each bloodline. The Cimmerians refuse and a massive battle ensues. Khalar Singh winning the day through the use of black magic. Corin, knowing the battle is lost, hides Conan, at the cost of his own life. Conan, wracked by the guilt ofa survivor, vows his revenge on Khalar and his warriors. When we meet Conan again, many years later, he's grown into a powerful and experienced warrior.
His revenge is nearly complete as he traps one of the few of Khalar`s former warriors still left alive. LUCIUS. Before killing him, Conan discovers Khalar's location in the distant Khauran. In a hidden oasis in the desert, Khalar finds TAMARA, the last of an ancient royal line, the one person he's been searching for the past twenty years. Tamara, unknowing of her own identity, is told to flee by her mentor, FASSIR, even as Khalar's forces enslave or massacre the oasis' people. Tamara escapes, and a furious Khalar sends his men scouring the countryside for her. But her path crosses Coaan's first, and instead of setting her free he decides to use her as bait to draw Khalar out from behind his protective shield of warriors. But the plan fails and Conan and Tamara must work together to escape, an escape which first reveals a great power building inside the frightened girl.
Conan ends up on a pirate ship that Tamara's people have commissioned to take her far from Khalar's grasp. Conan team of Khalar's plan: to revive the ancient and evil empire of Acheron by sacrificing the only living heir to its throne, Tamara. Simura explains that Khalar desires the power, which now grows inside Tamara, a power, if unleashed, would once again bring all mankind under Acheron's bloody and brutal reign. The truth of her destiny has been hidden from Tamara, for her own good, but when the treacherous pirates try to turn her over to Khalar's forces, even Conan's brute force is little compared to the explosion of energy unwittingly released by Tamara. In the smoldering aftermath, only Conan and Tamara are left alive.
Conan tries parting ways with Tamara, intent on his own revenge but she asks him for help getting into Khalar's forces to rescue her people. Like Conan, Tamara can bear no more blood on her hands. Conan finally relents and they make love, not knowing that Khalar is performing a ritual, sacrificing part of his soul to create a demon to help him kill Conan. Once inside the fortress. Conan kills the massive JAILER, and Tamara finds many of her people, including Fassir, still alive. Fassir reveals he's a traitor, turning Tamara over to her enemy. Conan falls into Khalar`s trap, forced to battle the demon he summoned.THE SHADOW OF NERGAL. Conan survives, then forces Fassir's acolyte, BAEL, to lead him to Acheron, where Tamara is to be sacrificed. The ghosts of the ancient ruins of Aeheron come alive as the last of the royal line, Tamara, is led up to the sacrificial altar. Conan arrives and starts cutting a swath through the soldiers that block his path to her, including his main revenge target, UKAFA. Conan finds Khalar to be a tough opponent. As Tamara is about to be killed, her eyes tum black and she fully assumes the form of Queen of Acheron, and unleashes her power. After Conan kills Khalar, Tamara begs him to kill her too. so the power within her won`t rise to shed more blood. Conan reluctantly agrees and plunges a spear into her chest. They share one last kiss as she dies in his arms.

Upravo iz ovih razloga,ja i nisam imao nikakve iluzije u vezi sa ovim projektom.
Većina tvrdokornih Konanovih fanova ,međutim,naivno je poverovala Fredriku Malmbergu, direktoru Paradoxa,vlasniku prava na Konana i ostale Hauardove likove,i koproducentu filma,da će nova filmska verzija Konana,za razliku od Milijusovog ostvarenja iz 1982.,biti verna originalnoj Hauardovoj ideji i izvornoj kreaciji omiljenog im Simerijanca.
Zato su i bili toliko šokirani kada se scenario pojavio na netu jer on sa Hauardovim Konanom i njegovim svetom ima veze jedino po imenu. Fanovi iz celog sveta na REHovom zvaničnom sajtu su toliko besni da su čak i napisali peticiju Fredriku Malmbergu(neki su se na forum registrovali samo iz tog razloga) u jalovoj nadi da mogu uticati da se stopira rad na ovom scenariju dok se ne izmeni i približi originalnoj Hauardovoj ideji.
Meni je među brojnim biserima iz sinopsisa,omiljeni ovaj:

Ljudima je izgleda teško da shvate da ekipu koja je angažovana na ovom projektu ne čine nezavisni filmski autori koji snimaju film o Konanu da bi zadovoljili ortodoksne fanove i ispravili nepravdu koju su Hauardu i njegovom čedu naneli Milijus i Arnold,već da je to Holivud koji se dohvatio Konana ne bi li u eri masovne ekranizacije svih mogućih stripova,iskoristio svetsku popularnost ovog lika da zaradi pare i stvori uslove za uspešnu i dugovečnu franšizu.Zbog toga je ovaj tupavi scenario i napisan po oprobanom ziheraškom modelu u već viđenom stilu sword and sorcery limunada poput Scorpion kinga na primer,kako bi osigurao da današnja retardirana bioskopska publika dobije upravo ono što očekuje i što je Gul gore definisao kaošuplji fenseraj, poziranje, fejk bulšit za klinčuriju.

Kao što sam na početku ove teme i napisao,mene lično jedino zanima koga će izabrati da igra Konana jer je pravi izbor glavnog glumca jedina šansa da ovaj film ne bude totalno smeće.

Kasting je inače uveliko u toku a jedan od kandidata koji je već prošao probna snimanja je Škot Paul Telfer,koga se sećamo iz Holmarkovog Herkulesa.

They have done a great job on the script - really exciting and it totally gets the character and world. Plus there is loads of R rated violence!

Srećom,tu su televizijski produkcijski kanali,kao što je HBO koji je Rimom i Dedvudom pokazao da postoje ljudi koji i danas to znaju da naprave i isporuče kako treba,a što je najvažnije da može biti i komercijalno.
Baš zato ja mnogo više nade polažem u najavljeni film o Konanu britanske televizijske produkcije Carlton koji bi trebalo da predstavlja ekranizaciju priče The Devil in iron.
Scenario je završen,a budžet je 7 miliona funti.Uostalom,evo šta o projektu kaže jedan od insajdera.

Gentlemen, it has been a while since i last posted anything regarding the Conan television production (first person uses the words 'tv movie' gets a Barachan spear in the neck!) so having read through the recent character list for the theatrical feature film plus being given the nod from the Powers That Be about the production, i can now give you something solid to digest for the Hallowe'en weekend... 

28 years ago, British television company Carlton Television, which was (and is) part of the massive ITV network, paid an extremely large sum to be one of the first terrestrial channels to be able to broadcast the motion picture Conan The Barbarian. An additional clause in the deal stated that Cartlon television would have complete right to adapt for the television medium original works by Robert E Howard under the proviso that said work was in the public domain. Bearing in mind that this deal was made in 1981, The rightsholders to Conan really were not concerned with a date that was a Quarter of a century away. Carlton Television did not have the rights to create original material. Everyone got that? They could create original material provided it did not make up more than 10% of any adaptation of an original Robert E Howard public domain story.

Which is where we are at, at the moment. The production has finance firmly in place to the tune of £7m, has a new Director onboard (Mr Graham Harper has left due to scheduling commitments but was outstanding in helping find his replacement) the script has undergone revision to tighten the narrative, and a number of locations have been scouted. I shall also be posted an excerpt from the finished script by the weekend for you to  critique in your genteel manner as seen by previous form. The final title will be 'Conan The Barbarian - The Devil In Iron.'

Casting: We are talking to one young man at the moment from north of the border. He has success playing fantasy before, is going to be a rising star, that i am sure of, and is a great actor.

Imajući sve ovo u vidu, ne treba da čudi što baš Englezi stoje iza realizacije filma o Solomon Kejnu koji sudeći po trejleru,bar vizuelno nagoveštava da će biti blizak originalnom Hauardu.

Jebi ga,nisam verovao da ću morati to da obrazlažem,ali pošto sam na ovom forumu video da i Alex i Jor obožavaju taj film,a radi se o Konanovim fanovima i poznavaocima materije,nema mi druge.
Sad kuckam nešto o Čudotvornom maču,pa kad to završim napisaću i par redova o tome zašto Milijusovog i Švarcenegerovog Konana smatram uvredom za Hauarda i katastrofom u svakom smislu.

A što se tiče reditelja,pa ja sam posle gledanja Gibsonovog Apokalipta shvatio ko bi bio idealan čovek da snimi Konana.

This is the first post in a thread about the development of the new Conan movie. To keep our announcements about the progress easily found and in sequence, this thread is pinned and closed. We will post updates when there is information to give. As the movie is in development, not production, the announcements will likely be sporadic until a later stage.

First of all, a few comments on the surge in posts the past two weeks. Please keep in mind that everything is still a work-in-progress. It is best not to jump to conclusions about a movie that won't be released for 18 months or so from now. Paradox/CPI is working with the studio (Millennium/Nu Image), the other producers, the distributor (Lions Gate) and the director (Marcus Nispel) by giving input on the development. CPI strives to make this an action-filled movie in the world of Conan, taking inspiration from the writings of Howard, however, some liberties will have to be taken to reach out to a wider audience. It remains our hope that bringing Conan and other characters to a new generation will enhance the awareness of the writings of Robert E. Howard.

Secondly, scripts change constantly when a film is in production, even during shooting. While there is usually one writer or writing team credited in a movie, it is very common to use different writers for later rewrites. We are now preparing for a new set of eyes (and hands) to begin a rewrite. The owner of said eyes and hands shall remain unnamed for now...

STARGATE ATLANTIS actor Jason Momoa has been cast as Conan in the new remake by Marcus Nispel.

The 6ft 5ins Hawaiian-born actor and model, who was also in Baywatch, won the role of the barbarian warrior after impressing filmmakers Lionsgate, Millennium Films and Paradox Entertainment with test scenes in which he wielded a sword, says Deadline Hollywood.

Momoa, 30, beat off competition from Twilight's Kellan Lutz and a third candidate who I revealed on here to be Supernatural's Jared Padalecki. Padalecki had previously worked with Nispel on last year's Friday the 13th reboot.

Filming will begin in Bulgaria on March 15, with an eye on a 2011 release.

Latino Review is reporting that Mickey Rourke has been offered the part of Conan's father Corin.

Već nekoliko dana se ova informacija oko konačnog izbora glavnog glumca vrti po netu a jedini izvor na koji se pozivaju je Deadline Hollywood.Još uvek nije stigla zvanična potvrda od producenata tako da postoji kakva takva nada da ovo ipak nije definitivno.
