Po svemu sudeći, ovaj film će se ipak dogoditi. Čak se pojavila i najava u kojoj Argento objašnjava svoje planove u vezi sa novom ekranizacijom Stokerovom besmrtnog romana o besmrtnom vampiru...

Videli ste... "Promo" se sastoji od užasnog voice-overa, nekavih random sličica i Argentovog izlaganja u kome garantuje da će Dracula 3D sadržati emocije i krv. Prikazane lokacije ne izgledaju loše, ali sve ono što je Argento izgovorio... Pošto je Argento titlovan, postoji nada da je u pitanju loš prevod s italijanskog na engleski.

sicuro - sigurno (to je inače italijanska riječ koju smo mi odomaćili)

u stvari je ''prevod''  bolji
bolje da je invasive i disruptive, to je i poenta 3D horora.

Drakula maestro di pazzia - ovi prevode master of insanity što je tačno

ali dodaje i maestro di  follia sanguinita - prevod bloody madness

za ovo nisam siguran ali na engleskom human follies nisu baš ludila, koliko budalasta, nerazumna ponašanja, misli se na svakodnevne gluposti, više na ono ''ljudi nisu dovoljno obrazovani, neprosvijećeni su'' i tome slično. Dakle ide neki Lomljavina i zavede ga Drakula

Mada ta opcija bi dala bolji film, ali ne vjerujem da bi to Arđento radio na taj način.

Actually, u pitanju je Kelly Brook (dakle jednina), a sigurno da ne bih imao ništa protiv da ta krasna glumica igra npr. neku od vampirica. I Monika Beluči je počela u Kopolinom Drakuli.

Bloody Disgusting javlja::: After Giallo and Mother of Tears I am sad to report that I just don't care about Dario Argento's Dracula 3D. I'd bet against it. I'd bet A LOT of money against it. Some (small) fresh news today as it was reported that powerful Spanish film-TV businessman Enrique Cerezo has taken a minority co-production stake in Italian horror maestro's stereoscopic 3D adaptation of Bram Stoker's "Dracula." The English-language pic, set to go into production from February in Hungary, is budgeted at Euro10 million ($13.2 million). Not much more to report than that, but it looks as if it's actually happening.

Najnovija (još uvek ne i 100% proverena) vest:::Rutger Hauer će u novoj ekranizaciji Stokerovog romana tumačiti lik Van Helsinga.

Argento bi voleo, gle ćuda, da Minu glumi njegova kćerka Asia. Još uvek se ne zna ko je ugri za naslovnu ulogu.

Ma, super je Asia, to valjda niko ne spori. Samo što ne volim kada glumi curetke  nevolji. To joj nekako ne leži. VIše volim kada joj daju pištolj pa da rešeta unaokolo.

Ne znam, ali tata Argento ima običaj da kćeri poverava uloge krhkih heroina. Doduše, u Trećoj majci Asia je dobila priliku da smrska koju glavu. Ako se ovaj trend nastavi - ja sam ZA!

Ja nisam gledao nista od Ardjenta posle The Card Playera, koji je bio onako, OK, I guess. A sudeci po prikazima njegovih skorijih ostvarenja nije bas da treba da se raspametim oko novog Drakule... J

GIALLO je zaista ispušte, tu ima veoma malo Argenta, ali TREĆA MAJKA ima svoje momente. Ne treba je doživljavati kao nastavak SUSPIRIJE i INFERNA i već je bolja. Za razliku od prva dva filma, ovo je više kao neka horor komedija i čak mislim da je dosta od humora bilo namerno.

Рутгер Хауер је потврдио да је одабран да игра Ван Хелсинга у Дракули 3Д, новом филму легендарног хорор редитеља Дариа Арђента. "То би могло бити заиста, заиста узбудљиво", рекла је звезда Аутостопера и Блејд Ранера. "Летим за Лондон и кад стигнем желим да разговарам с Маестром о лику.". Снимање филма почиње ускоро у Будимпешти.

It was announced today that Marta Gastini (The Rite), Rutger Hauer (Blade Runner, Hobo With a Shotgun), Asia Argento (Land of the Dead), Miguel Angel Silvestre and Miriam Giovanelli will all star in Filmexport Group's Dracula 3D, Bloody Disgusting first learned.

To be helmed by Italian horror icon Dario Argento, the latest Vlad the Impaler pic is based on the original novel by Bram Stroker, about the vampire Dracula, an icon of twentieth century culture.

Inside you will not only find a new sales poster, but you'll also find a massive rundown of the entire plot. Wowsa!

"The tale begins with Jonathan Harker, journeying by train and carriage from England to Count Dracula's crumbling, remote castle situated in the Carpathian Mountains on the border of Transylvania. The purpose of his mission is to catalogue the big library of Dracula. At first enticed by Dracula's gracious manner, Harker soon discovers that he has become a prisoner in the castle. He also begins to see disquieting facets of Dracula's nocturnal life. One night while searching for a way out of the castle, and against Dracula's strict admonition not to venture outside his room at night, Harker falls under the spell of three wanton female vampires, the Brides of Dracula. He is saved at the last second by the Count, because he wants to keep Harker alive. Harker barely escapes from the castle with his life. Soon Dracula is tracking Harker's devoted fiancée, Wilhelmina "Mina" Murray, and her friend, Lucy Westenra. There is a notable encounter between Dracula and Renfield, an insane man who means to consume insects, spiders, birds, and other creatures — in ascending order of size — in order to absorb their "life force". Renfield acts as a motion sensor, detecting Dracula's proximity and supplying clues accordingly.

Lucy begins to waste away suspiciously. All her suitors fret, and Seward calls in his old teacher, Professor Abraham Van Helsing from Amsterdam. Van Helsing immediately determines the cause of Lucy's condition but refuses to disclose it, knowing that Seward's faith in him will be shaken if he starts to speak of vampires. Van Helsing tries multiple blood transfusions, but they are clearly losing ground. On a night when Van Helsing must return to Amsterdam, Lucy and her mother are attacked by a wolf. Mrs Westenra, who has a heart condition, dies of fright, and Lucy apparently dies soon after. Lucy is buried, but soon afterward the newspapers report children being stalked in the night by a "bloofer lady". Van Helsing knows that this means Lucy has become a vampire. The suitors and Van Helsing track her down, and after a disturbing confrontation between her vampiric self and Arthur, they stake her heart, behead her, and fill her mouth with garlic.

Around the same time, Jonathan Harker arrives home from recuperation in Budapest; he and Mina also join the coalition, who turn their attentions to dealing with Dracula. After Dracula learns of Van Helsing and the others' plot against him, he takes revenge by visiting—and biting— Mina at least three times. Dracula also feeds Mina his blood, creating a spiritual bond between them to control her. The only way to forestall this is to kill Dracula first. Mina slowly succumbs to the blood of the vampire that flows through her veins, switching back and forth from a state of consciousness to a state of semi-trance during which she is telepathically connected with Dracula. It is this connection that they start to use to deduce Dracula's movements. It is only possible to detect Dracula's surroundings when Mina is put under hypnosis by Van Helsing. This ability gradually gets weaker as the group make their way to Dracula's castle. Dracula flees back to his castle in Transylvania, followed by Van Helsing's group, who manage to track him down just before sundown and destroy him by shearing "through the throat" with a knife and stabbing him in the heart also with a knife. Dracula crumbles to dust, his spell is lifted and Mina is freed from the marks. Quincey Morris is killed in the final battle, stabbed by Gypsies who had been charged with returning Dracula to his castle; the survivors return to England."

Ovo zvuči SJAJNO! Osim beznačajne sitnice s katalogisanjem Drakuline biblioteke, sve je bukvalno preuzeto iz knjige, bez nepotrebnih komplikacija, izmjena i sl. Ako film bude sadržao eksplicitne scene s tri vampirice i ako izbace neke previše patetične momente iz knjige, ovo bi moglo da nadmaši čak i BBC-jevu adaptaciju s Louisom Jourdanom!

Videćemo da li je ovo zaista sinopsis filma ili prepričan roman. Scenarista Antonio Tentori za sada nije pokazao neki naročiti talenat. Bilo bi lepo da film bude kvalitetan i gledan, ali je nezahvalno prognozirati.

Meni je Treća majka prijala. Naravno, pod uslovom da nije tretirana kao nastavak filmova Suspiria i Inferno, već kao neka vrsta ironičnog post-festuma. Kada bi Dracula 3D bio tog kvaliteta - bio bih prezadovoljan. Nažalost, imajući u vidu da je budžet drastično stesan pre snimanja, čini mi se da konačni rezltat neće biti na odgovarajućem nivou. Nadam se da grešim.

Ja sam umjereni optimista. Drakula je toliko dobra i za filmovanje zahvalna knjiga da mislim da samo totalan moron može loše da je obradi.

Meni je Treća majka prijala. Naravno, pod uslovom da nije tretirana kao nastavak filmova Suspiria i Inferno, već kao neka vrsta ironičnog post-festuma. Meni se La Terza Madre sviđa, verovatno će zvučati glupo, ali možda čak i više od Inferna. Ja sam odrastao uz Arđentove filmove, ali mi Inferno nikada nije legao. Gledao sam mnogo puta i pokušavao da ga zavolim, ali eto, jednostavno ne ide, dok mi se treća majka još od prvog kadra svidela. Naravno, nipošto kao legendarni Profondo Rosso ili Phenomena... Kamo sreće da ostatak filmova koje snimi budu kvaliteta Treće majke, mada se plašim da je Arđento odradio svoje...

Inače, voleo bih da gledam film u kome bi se potukli  majmunče iz Treće majke i majmunči iz Mamurluka 2. Bilo bi to nezaboravno.

Daleko od toga da Treća majka ne škripi, ali nažalost mislim da je to najviše što smo mogli dobiti od Arđenta. Plašim se da velikan neće moći da snimi film boljeg kvaliteta, ili rame uz rame sa La Terza Madre ili zlodela poput Đijala...

Verovatno si u pravu. Voleo bih da nisi, ali moramo biti realni. Ipak smatram da od Argenta još uvek možemo da očekujemo pristojne filmove. Giallo je bio pološ, ali imao je on i ranije velike padove pa se vraćao na velika (ili srednja) vrata. Zabavlja me pomisao da će u D3D Asia ostati bez glave...

The Argento film "family" gathered in force last night.

Latest arrival was special prosthetic make-up man Sergio Stivaletti who drove 6 hours from Rome with his van loaded up with severed heads and an Asia mannequin. Dario told Sergio he wanted his work to accent the violent aspects of the vampire legend. For while Dracula 3D hews to the basic Bram Stoker story as we all know and love it, the fantasy add-ons are what Dario wants to make the most impact. I so want to reveal what those are but would face the maestro's wrath if I did!

Sergio really wants Dracula 3Dto be a huge hit because then Demons 3D would become more viable. He and Lamberto Bava have that project all ready to go. A visitor to the set last week was Claudio Simonetti who, true to form, has already composed much of the soundtrack. The ex-Goblin is excited by the fact it will all be orchestral and lush. The scenes being shot last night were the two final ones and I have to state for the umpteenth time that the collaboration between Dario and Luciano Tovoli is paying amazing dividends from a visual point of view. If nothing else the movie looks absolutely gorgeous, in a post-modern Hammer style.

Tovoli told me he wants it to be classic, expressionistic, romantic and naturalistic all at the same time. By the way Tovoli's son Lorenzo is his assistant. Still waiting for Rutger Hauer to find space to fit an interview in with me, last night again had the actor on perpetual call. But everyone agrees a major star is emerging from Dracula 3D: Marta Gastini, innocent purity personified as Mina, her emotional scenes have touched everyone. After she finished last night the entire cast and crew broke out in spontaneous applause, Dracula for me is becoming a wonderful series of such unique magical events.

A shift in location today - a disused sportswear factory on the Biella outskirts is the base now. Here in the cavernous spaces where old offices used to be the various art departments are working on dripping wax from giant candelabras and carving crucifixes and coffins. The main scene being filmed tonight is Van Helsing on a literal stake-out in the crypt set built in the basement. It's a long, thin, gloomy corridor filled with graves etched with such names as Elisabetta Lovinescu. Very atmospheric but with barely enough room to swing a cat o'nine tails! Not sure how we're all going to fit in with the extras all dressed in funereal black. I'm waiting outside Asia's trailer for her imminent arrival...

TRANSYLVANIA, 1893.
One night in the woods adjacent to Passo Borgo, at the foot of the Carpazi mountains, a couple of young lovers, Tania and Milos, secretly meet.  On her way home, Tania is chased and overcome by a "dark shadow" that kills her. In those days Jonathan Harker, a young librarian, arrives at the village hired by Count Dracula, a nobleman from the area. Tania's body mysteriously disappears from the cemetery.  In the meantime Harker, before going to Count Dracula's castle, takes the opportunity to visit Lucy Kisslinger, his wife Mina's best friend as well as the daughter of the local mayor.
Upon arriving at the castle, Harker is greeted by Tania, brought back to life from the dead and made vampire, who tries from the very beginning to seduce him; however they are interrupted by Dracula's entrance welcoming Harker. The following night Tania tries again to bite Harker, she is close to his neck when she is stopped by the count who gets the upper hand and it is he himself who bites Harker's neck, however allowing him to live. The following day, weakened but still conscious Harker attempts to escape, but as soon as he is outside the castle a large wolf with a white lock assaults and savagely kills him. Meanwhile, Mina, Harker's wife, arrives in the village and is guest for a few days at the home of her dearest friend Lucy Kisslinger, who will also be bitten and vampirized. The day after, Mina, worried about her husband, goes to Count Dracula's castle. Their encounter makes her forget the reason for her presence there. She is completely under the count's influence; the count  had orchestrated the events leading up to their encounter; in fact Mina looks exactly like his beloved Dolinger, who died some centuries ago. Upon her return to the Kisslinger house, Mina learns of the death of her dear friend Lucy. The sequence of such strange and dramatic events summons the aid of Van Helsing, vampire expert of the techniques used to eliminate them.  Van Helsing, aware of the circumstances decides to act swiftly and prepares the tools needed to combat vampires.  He directs himself to the center of evil, Count Dracula's castle.   Meanwhile Dracula, in the village, kills the inhabitants who rescinded their pact, while Van Helsing, inside the castle, is able to definitively eliminate Tania.  Dracula, intent on his desire to reunite with his beloved wife, leads Mina, completely hypnotized, to the castle where Van Helsing is waiting. He  has decided to engage in a deadly fight  with his evil foe.  During the struggle Van Helsing loses his gun with the silver bullet and Mina, still under Dracula's spell, gathers it and tries to aid Dracula, but she misses the target and involuntarily kills him. The special silver bullet transforms Dracula into ashes; but his spirit lifts the ashes into the air and uniting, they shape into a large bat with a mocking grin...
