ZNAK SAGITE — više od fantastike — edicija, časopis, knjižara...

Izdavacka kuca Odiseja objavice najverovatnije u junu mesecu prvi roman u trilogiji Mistborn, americkog pisca Brendona Sendersona, a u mom prevodu. Senderson je, inace, odabran da zavrsi ciklus Tocak vremena, pokojnog Roberta Dzordana.

Ти си се вала лепо упослио, свако мало па нас нечим обрадујеш...

Trudim se, trudim se. Racunam da je vreme da mladje generacije preuzmu lucu od ovih starijih i umornijih (valjda me nece cuti Boban i Goran ), pa zato kod svih zivih izdavaca agitujem da se objavljuju dobri naslovi - a jos ako mogu i da ih prevodim... Ih, milina!

The Sliver of Infinity, the Lord Ruler, is the locus of religious and temporal order in a world in which the skaa are slaves or worse. Half-skaa erstwhile thief Kelsior is the only person to survive and escape the Lord Ruler's most brutal prison, in which, however, he discovered he has the powers of the Mistborn, which are based on the internal "burning" of certain metals, all of which the Mistborn can use, while most others can burn only one. Now Kelsior plans his most daring raid ever, into the center of the palace to discover the secret of the Lord Ruler's power. Beforehand, his band finds the half-skaa orphan Vin in another thieving crew, where she's useful because she brings good luck. She is also Mistborn and, if she can master and learn to trust her powers, will enable Kelsior's crew to infiltrate the nobility and possibly overthrow the status quo. Intrigue, politics, and conspiracies mesh complexly in a world Sanderson realizes in satisfying depth and peoples with impressive characters.

zvuci zanimljivo... al aj sada necu napred da pametujem dok je ne procitam.

Ja sam citao njegov Elantris - pitko i zabavno.

I Elantris je u izgledu, ali najpre da se objavi ova trilogija.

Не знам што су сви запели за трилогије... мени више пун куфер наставака. Дај, гурај што почиње и завршава се у истој књизи...

Joj da, i meni je dosta nastavaka. Zar ne postoji više niko ko je u stanju da ono što ima kaže u jednoj knjizi?

Hmmm... Ne! Zapravo, samo je srednja generacija pisaca opredeljena za jednotomne romane, vecina starijih i mladjih autora proslavila se serijalima - ali! Sendersonov prvi roman je sam za sebe. Inace, mozda zvuci suludo, ali velika vecina citalaca najvise voli trilogije. One mu dodju kao zlatna sredina izmedju jednotomnih romana i ogromnih serijala.

pa da, najbolja je ta zlatna sredina...bolje od samo jedne i definitivno bolje od 12 delova kao sto je tocak vremena...

btw. šta bi sa Alvinom od Karda,jel izašlo?

Jeste, samo sto Algoritam ne osvezava sajt. Inace, na koricama su napisali Alvin Mejker, na moju sablazan.

Sinoc sam procitao treci deo - i zaista je rec o trilogiji. Nema daljih nastavaka. Ocekujem da ce se prvi deo u knjizarama naci za jedno cetiri meseca, a drugi krajem ove ili pocetkom naredne godine.

to izgleda tako daleko....            

Danas mi je iz Odiseje saopsteno da ce prvi deo trilogije Deca magle - Poslednje Carstvo - biti u knjizarama vec pocetkom jula, a da nastavak radim za oktobarski sajam. U tom slucaju, treci deo treba ocekivati negde u ovo doba naredne godine. Istovremeno, za sajam je najavljen i drugi deo Amajlije iz Samarkanda.

Je li ovo uopšte izdato? Ne sjećam se da sam u knjižarama vidio bilo šta od Sandersona.

Nije, Seka, i tako to. Takođe nije objavljen ni "Olujni talas", "Kralj trnja", "Grad Ember", "Narod Sparksa" i ne znam šta sam još preveo od prošlog sajma.
