Za divno cudo, upravo se setih da sam pre jedno 7-8  god, kada je vhs bio jedino izvor filmova iznajmio kopijinu kopiju kopije filma SCREAM 4(?!)

Obzirom da je slika bila uzasna, ne secam se ni kako se film zvao u originalu, ali sada sigurno znam da nije bio Scream., E a oni su ga ladno izdavali kao Vrisak 4!

Evo nekih nazovi noviteta...

While SCREAM 4 is still very much in the early stages of development, we have a few exclusive facts to kick start the hype.

Fact #1: Kevin Williamson (writer of two of the SCREAM films (character credit on third)) is going to start writing a draft, although it may or may not become the shooting script (which is typical).

Fact #2: Wes Craven may or may not direct, but there is a very good possibility that he will return.

Fact #3: They are making financial offers to David Arquette, Courtney Cox Arquette and Neve Campbell to play cameos.

Fact #4: This will be a younger version of the SCREAM movies.

Kevin Williamson je dobio u zadatak da napiše novu trilogiju i da se, verovano, nađe i u režiserskoj stolici.Williamson je pitao bračni par Arquette-Cox da se pridruže ekipi i repriziraju svoje uloge ali ostaje nepoznato kako bi njihovi likovi bili inkorporirani u novu priču. Snimanje može početi već na jesen...

There have been so many rumors and so much speculation behind Dimension Films' highly anticipated Scream IV, which is supposed to go behind camera this coming April. As of right now, Wes Craven should be directing (again) with Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox all returning to solve another "Ghostface" mystery. IESB caught up with screenwriter Kevin Williamson who not only confirms Craven's involvement, but also chats up some story details. Read on for the skinny.

With all of the stars returning, Williamson's original version of the story will be hitting the big screen -- with no compromise.

"I'm almost done with the first draft of Scream 4," he tells IESB.net. "I'm trying to get that together for Wes Craven. We've got to get going on that, during the hiatus. We have Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and Dave Arquette. I was always holding out hope because the pitch was about those three characters. I didn't want to have to re-route the whole story. We don't have to do that. I can do it exactly the way I want wanted. The story is going to be told the way I originally conceived it."

He also chats about the strong mystery of who this Ghostface will be.

"Well, that's the whole point of the movie," he tells the site. "What I have always liked about this movie versus the other horror films is that I feel like there are characters. In other horror movies, you remember Michael Meyers and you remember Jason. In our film, I think you remember Sydney Prescott because Sydney Prescott's the victim and she has lasted for all three of these movies. The fun of the film is that it's Sydney Prescott. That's the difference and you care about her. I want to write a story where you actually care about our characters and it's a plot that you watch them walk through. It's not all about the next kill. It's not all about slice and dice. I was watching Saw VI on pay per view the other night and I was like, "This is really just going from one kill to the next, to the next." It's fun, but I want to tell a story."

Williamson also confirms he's locked in for Scream 4 and 5 and that it is a planned trilogy. Let's see if this even goes before cameras first.

Variety says SCREAM 4 will hit theaters on April 15, 2011.
Not surprisingly, and as has been previously rumored, Wes Craven is now confirmed as director of the fourth installment.
    ...and Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette will reprise their roles along with a group of younger thesps.

Kevin Williamson will also be returning as SCREAM 4's writer/producer.

In an interview with EW's Pop Watch Craven dropped the following on fans:

Pertaining to Sid's (Neve Campbell) return ...

"There have been 10 years of no Ghostface, but there has been the movie-within-a-movie Stab. We have fun with the idea of endless sequels, or 'sequelitis' as Kevin calls it in the script. Sid goes through these three horrendous things, and Stab was based on those horrible things. And then they've been taken by a studio and run into the ground in a series of sequels. She has been off by herself and living her own life, and she's even written a book that has gotten a lot of critical acclaim. She's kind of put her life back together in the course of these 10 years. But, certainly, there would be no Scream without Ghostface, so she has to confront him again, but now as a woman who has really come out the darkness of her past."

Pertaining to the last ten years of genre films:

"It feels like the end of an era of a certain type of film. There are series of films, a lot of sequels, and a lot of remakes, and part of the humor of Scream 4 is when characters comment on that. 'Enough of Saw 25 and all!' [Laughs] A lot of films, directors, and studios are the butts of some of the jokes. In order to figure out what's happening around them, the characters have to figure out where the genre of horror is. So this is a look at horror after 10 years of a lot of sequels rather than original films coming up year after year. One film is successful, and then they make 25 of them. I think it's time for something new. I've done remakes of my own films, too, with The Last House on the Left and The Hills Have Eyes, but we feel it's time for something new and different, and that's what this film is going to be."

Look for Scream 4 in theatres on April 15th, 2011.

Snimanje Vriska 4 trebalo bi da počne ovog jula. Povratnici su potvrđeni - Krejven (režiser), Vilijamson (scenarista) i glumački trio Kempbel-Arketi-Koks.

According to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision Blog Lake Bell is in negotiations to join the franchise, and offers are out to Twilight actress Ashley Greene, 'Heroes' star Hayden Panettiere, and Rory Culkin (Twelve) for key starring roles. If deals are concluded, Greene would play Campbell's cousin Jill, essentially the heroine of the movie, and Panettiere would play her best friend, a nerdy film geek. Culkin would play a potential love interest for Jill. Bell is negotiating to play a police officer who knew Sidney (Campbell) from high school.

Zanimljivo duplirarenje uloga.
Grin praktično glumi Sidni.
Kalkin popunjava mesto Skita Ulrika.
Penetier je ženski Rendi.
Bel je ženski Djui.

Plašim se da su kreativni sokovi Kevina Vilijamsa presušili. Pogledao sam prve 2 epizode Vampirskih dnevnika i ne verujem da ću nastaviti. Rutinerski su određene. Vulijamsov scenario je u stilu been there, done that. Voleo bih da V4 bude odličan, ali nisa siguran šta će se iz svega na kraju izroditi... Opet, ako je kasting istinit, nisu loša imena...

Evo pregleda novih likova (moguće je da nije sasvim istinit).

1.) JILL KESSLER – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Pretty in an ingenue way. Smart, strong. A little goofy, but she makes it sexy. Full of contradictions, but instantly likeable. Not a mean bone in her body. They're not close, but Jill is Sidney's cousin.

2.) KIRBY REED – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Cute and quirky, was a tomboy until a year ago, now she's alternative, cool and sexy. Jill's best friend. She's a pop culture and horror aficionado.

3.) OLIVIA MORRIS – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Sexy and hot. A fun girl who knows how to be bitchy without being a bitch. She finds a way to make every situation about her, but somehow does it in a charming way. Part of the Jill, Kirby, Charlie, Trevor friend group.

4.) TREVOR SHELDON – MALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Handsome high school jock, but quiet and intense, as though a secret hangs over his head.

5.) CHARLIE WALKER – MALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Messy cute. Friends with Jill, Trevor, Kirby, and Olivia. A little cocky, he likens himself to 'Randy' from Scream 1 without the nerd part. No such luck, he's definitely a nerd. May or may not have a crush on Jill. He'd never admit it if he does.

6.) DEPUTY JUDY HICKS – FEMALE (30s; any ethnicity)
A police officer, decidedly sexy but a bit off, she knew Sidney from high school. Didn't make a big enough impression for Sidney to remember her. Likes her boss, Dewey, perhaps a little too much. NAME CAMEOS PREFERRED.

7.) DETECTIVE HOSS – MALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity)
New school cop. College graduate raised on the CSI TV series. NAME CAMEOS PREFERRED.

8.) DETECTIVE PERKINS – MALE (30s-40s; any ethnicity)
Old school cop. Cocky, bigoted, and snarky. NAME CAMEOS PREFERRED.

9.) PATTY – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
A bouncy teenage girl with a fountainhead of pop culture that is impressive. Like all teenagers who live in Woodsboro, she is obsessed with the Woodsboro murders and with the STAB films.

10.) MARNIE – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Friend of Patty's. Funny and mischievous; loves practical jokes. Sometimes pushes too far. Bored with Woodsboro's obsessions with murders that happened when she and her friends were toddlers.

11.) BETTE – FEMALE (20s; any ethnicity)
Sidney's personal assistant. Type A who gets the job done. Secretly yearns for Sidney's fame and fortune.

12.) REBECCA – FEMALE (17-18; any ethnicity)
Cute, vain, over-achieving student at Woodsboro High School. Editor in Chief of the high school newspaper. She's a future Gale Weathers.

jedva čekam... toliko toga se desilo od trojke

Veliki sam fan prvog filma, a volim i drugi, pa i treći na momente. Nadam se da se sliazna linija neće nastaviti u četvorci.

Kakve su samo ovo budalaštine - "any ethnicity"

Ma, svi znamo da će glavni glumci biti belci. To je samo da zamažu oči.

Snimanje Vriska 4 je počelo a još uvek ne postoji konačna verzija scenarija tj Vilijamsonu je naloženo da unese izmene u poslednjem trenutku.

Nod glumaca koji su bili potvrđeni za film napustili su projekat - niko od važnijih, ali bez obzira, to nije dobar znak.

Izvor blizak projektu je otkrio: "The script changes have put a real strain on the cast. The original 'Scream' cast members aren't happy with the way that things are happening..."

U svemu tome postoji jedna dobra stvar. Ulogu koju je trebalo da igra Lake Bell preuzela je Marley Shelton - potvrđeni slatkiš i talentovana glumica.

Kastu nastavka su se u poslednji čas pridružili Adam Brody i Erik Knudsen.

Nova frizura za novi Vrisak.

Najnovija vest je da je Mary McDonnell, dvostruka kandidatkinja za Oskara, dobila ulogu u Vrsiku 4.

ughrh, i baš kad sam pomislio da smo se rješili Neve Cambell jednom zauvijek...

Neve se vraća s osvetom... Mada, kola priča da će joj ovo biti poslednji Vrisak - kao i Arketovima. Treba napraviti mesta za nove likove.

Jeste. Ali tada je ona tvrdila pazar. Sada više nije u poziciji da bude izbirljiva. Karijera joj je posustala i ona više ne može da odbije poziv da glumi u bioskopskom filmu. 

Mislim da treba očekivati da bar neko od preživelih iz trilogije (Sidni, Gejl, Djui) bude likvidiran u četvrtom delu. Možda to bude Sidni...

a šta veliš oćel biti petice?

Vrisak je film "moje generacije" ako ga tako mogu nazvati
u to doba kao tinejdžer sam obožavao filmove s radnjom u srednjim školama, volio sam trilere, misterije. Horora nije mnogo bilo u lokalnim videotekama...na TVu ništa... nekoliko stanica sa lošom antenom prijem = nula
film sam prvo gledao na kakvom piratu pa na originalnom vhsu pa tek nakon nekoliko godina u kinu (emitovanje pred treći dio)
sjećam se kad sam bio u Rimu slikao sam reklamu za treći dio ccc koja opsjednutost

sva sreća nisam više takav međutim ne mogu retroaktivno mijenjati odnos prema radostima iz mladosti stoga željno očekujem svaki nastavak ovog remek - djela

Ja sam bio potpuno oduševljen prvim Vriskom kada se pojavio '96 - i danas mi je to jedan od omiljenih filmova.

Što se petog & šestog dela tiče - oni su već najvaljeni - u planu je nova trilogija.

Četvorka bi trebala da bude spona između prve i druge trilogije. Zato i mislim da postoji velika mogućnost da preživeli nastradaju u četvrtom kao bi se napravilo mesta za nove likove. 

Glasine se nastavljau... Naime, snimanje novog Vriska je izuzetno problematično. Izmene na scenariju su svakodnevne i glumci su zbog toga pomahnitali.

Lauren Graham je napustila projekat zato što je njena uloga značajno smanjena. Lake Bell je isto zbrisala, nije baš potpuno jasno zbog čega. Zlobnici kažu - da bi izbegla metak.

Uloga Hayden Panetierre je takođe doživela značajne konceptualne promene - što je ražestilo mladu glumicu. Umesto pametnice, sada treba da igra glupačicu - a to joj se nimalo ne dopada.

Kao šlag na torti - krenule su priče da Kevin Williamson napustio projekat i da ga je zamenio (joj!) Ehren Kruger koji je radio i na trojci - ubedljivo nalošijem i najomrženijem delu franšize.

Tata Craven odlučno pobija glasine.

Videćemo šta će se iz svega izroditi.

Film još nije snimljen - a već je uzbudljivo.

...molim, ne zaboravimo da Ehren Kruger kao scenarista stoji iza izuzetnog ARLINGTON ROADa Marka Pellingtona...

Eh, da, odličan film, ali nakon njega Kruger je pisao skoro sve same budalaštine. Mislim Skeleton Key, pa još Transformers 2, užas...

Some chatter about Lauren Graham's departure has made it sound like she wasn't thrilled with the sequel, however, it was another case of production scheduling and she's off to work on Parenthood.

Joj. Taj Kruger bi trebalo da "glanca" svoju alatku, a da pisanje scenarija ostavi onima koji nisu potpuno izgubili razum.
Doduše, daleko od toga i da je ta budala od Kevina Vilijamsona neka cvjećka.

Od toliko scenarista, oni su ponovo angažovali Krugera... Samo da nije puštena ta vest kako bi zataškala da je Kevin napustio ekipu... Ja se nadam da je samo "polish" u pitanju, mada se iskreno plašim da originalnom scenaristi nema povratka na sledeća dva nastavka... A vala me i taj "polish" brine...

Production has started on Scream 4, which will be filmed in and around Ann Arbor, Mich. Pa s'obzirom da se razvodi od Davida Arquette a da snimaju zajednicki film mora da atmosfera i nije sjajna. Pogotovo kada se njihova ljubav "rodila" na snimanju prvog dela a eto, zavrsila kod cetvrtog. Krug je zatvoren

Da znaš da i ja. Veliki sam poklonik ovog serijala, bilo bi lepo da novi deo oživi stara sećanja.

Mene trejler nije bog-zna-kako napalio, ali se svejedno radujem filmu.

Ovo je zapravo tizer. Možda trejler bude još bolji...

Samo se nadam da neće biti onako loš kao treći dio.
