KNJIGA PRVA
odlomci

Naslov i predgovor je preskočen

PRVO (I POSLEDNJE) POGLAVLJE

Rečnik za laike

pomoču koga čete probati naučiti kako stvari funkcioniraju pre nego počinjete čitati knjigu

Hipnoza

Gde idemo?

U vrstu vizuelnih iluzija spadaju snovi, priviđenja i slično a u novijim teorijama i stvarnost. Ako pravilno zamislite kako funkcionira vremeplov, sve če vam biti jasno.

Masovna iluzija

(sledi i neki uvod u knjigu-priručnik, nečitljiv rukopis, nije prevedeno, op.

BULLSHIT

Our understanding of hypnosis has advanced a great deal in the past century, but the phenomenon is still a mystery of sorts. In this article, we'll look at some popular theories of hypnosis.

People have been pondering and arguing over hypnosis for more than 200 years, but science has yet to fully explain how it actually happens. We see what a person does under hypnosis, but it isn't clear why he or she does it. This puzzle is really a small piece in a much bigger puzzle: how the human mind works. It's unlikely that scientists will arrive at a definitive explanation of the mind in the foreseeable future, so it's a good bet hypnosis will remain something of a mystery as well.

But psychiatrists do understand the general characteristics of hypnosis, and they have some model of how it works. It is a trance state characterized by extreme suggestibility, relaxation and heightened imagination. It's not really like sleep, because the subject is alert the whole time. It is most often compared to daydreaming, or the feeling of "losing yourself" in a book or movie. You are fully conscious, but you tune out most of the stimuli around you. You focus intently on the subject at hand, to the near exclusion of any other thought. But what is it that makes this happen?

There does seem to be changed activity in the brain. The most notable data comes from electroencephalographs (EEGs), measurements of the electrical activity of the brain. Extensive EEG research has demonstrated that brains produce different brain waves, rhythms of electrical voltage, ...

DEVELOPEMENT OF THE TELEPORTATION

In 1998, physicists at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech), along with two European groups, turned the IBM ideas into reality by successfully teleporting a photon, a particle of energy that carries light. The Caltech group was able to read the atomic structure of a photon, send this information across 1 meter (3.28 feet) of coaxial cable and create a replica of the photon. As predicted, the original photon no longer existed once the replica was made.
In performing the experiment, the Caltech group was able to get around the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle, the main barrier for teleportation of objects larger than a photon. This principle states that you cannot simultaneously know the location and the speed of a particle. But if you can't know the position of a particle, then how can you teleport it? In order to teleport a photon without violating the Heisenberg Principle, the Caltech physicists used a phenomenon known as entanglement.

A more recent teleportation success was achieved at the Australian National University, when researchers successfully teleported a laser beam. While the idea of creating replicas of objects and destroying the originals doesn't sound too inviting for humans, quantum teleportation does hold promise for quantum computing. These experiments with photons are important in developing networks that can distribute quantum information. Professor Samuel Braunstein, of the University of Wales, Bangor, called such a network a "quantum Internet."

MORE BULLSHIT OR THE MANIFESTATIONS OF BARINWAVE PORTATION AND TELEPORTATION

Your brain is made of approximately 100-billion nerve cells, called neurons. Neurons have the amazing ability to gather and transmit electrochemical signals -- they are something like the gates and wires in a computer. Neurons share the same characteristics and have the same parts as other cells, but the electrochemical aspect lets them transmit signals over long distances (up to several feet or a few meters) and pass messages to each other. The proffesor Korner Fantomov will now (again) demonstrate a few aspects of brainwave teleportation. The brain is "hard-wired" with connections, much like a building or airplane is hard-wired with electrical wiring. Close your eyes. In the case of the brain, the connections are made by neurons that connect the sensory inputs and motor outputs with centers in the various lobes of the cortex. Lift up your hand. There are also connections between these cortical centers and other parts of the brain. Stand up. As you can see, your brain is a complex, highly organized organ that governs everything you do.

P.S. ako te zanimaju Pinklerova predavanja (How the Mind works) koja imam snimljena, reci vreme i mesto (uru i hub) i ako imaš Direct Connect, nema problema.

Allow me to introduce myself, I'm professor Hasan Seckati, and I'm veeeery interested in a reader's digest version of How The Mind Works, famous masterpiece by Pinkler The Horseshit.
