Ubisoft je uklonio svoje dolazeće igre sa Steama. Dakle, ono što je do sada postojalo je i dalje tu, ali igre poput Assassin's Creed Unity, Far Cry 4 i The Crew koje su do juče bile dostupne za preorder, više ne postoje na Steamu. Nešto se tu gadno pregovara između Ubija i Valvea. Činjenica je da sve Ubisoft igre ionako zahtevaju instalaciju Uplay-ja tako da ga svi mi manje više već imamo sa sve nalozima, ali ovo je svakako interesantan razvoj. Prvo su EA otišli sa Steama, sada Ubi kreće istim stopama. Ako i Activision u nekom momentu pomisli da Origin i Uplay imaju smisla, i oni će napraviti platformu za distribuciju i onda će Steam biti vše za mid-tier i nezavisne igre. Interesantna vremena.

Ovo za Mass Effect bi bilo sjajno posedovati (AKO UKLJUČE DLC, DAKAKO) a za ovo ostalo sam znao. Injustice i The Swapper već imam na PC-ju ali je odlično što ću ih imati i na konzoli, obe igre su sjajne i baš me raduje mogućnost igranja istih sa troseda i na televizoru, Secret Ponchos nastavlja izuzetnu praksu davanja PS+ članovima novih, visokokvalitetnih indi igara na dan lansiranja (čovek ne može da se žali ad dobie lepote poput The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, Velocity 2X ili Hohokum na dan njihovog izlaska pa se Secret Ponchos lepo uklapa). Jedino mi za First Light malo krivo jer sam ga kupio na launch day ne računajući da će tako brzo da stigne u PS+ ponudu, ali neka, nma veze, ja volim inFamous i drago mi da Sucker punch od mene dobiju podršku, plus jajno je da Sony konačno kreću sa davanjem novih AAA igara, iako je ovo samo DLC...

Ali i, šokantno, novi IP (posle više od deceniju i po, sem ako ne računate WoW, a onda je to bilo pre deceniju i kusur): igra se zove Overwatch i u pitanju je timski multiplejer šuter sa crtanofilmovskim grafičkim dizajnom. Team Fortress 2 najpre pada na pamet:

Nego, posle mojih silnih pohvala Shadow of Mordoru, evo da vidite kako sve to izgleda u praksi kada igru igra Angry Joe i stalno biva ubijen od strane istog orka. Zabavno je jer Joe, naravno, pizdi a ork postaje sve moćniji sa svakim sledećim susretom. Doduše, dodaću i da Joe, verovatno žureći da igru završi zbog rivjua, sve do pred kraj ima dosta slabiji build od onog koji sam ja imao već oko polovine igre te da ne koristi u dovoljnoj meri mogućnost combat brandinga (mada negde na 18:40 objašnjava da namerno ne koristi branding jer želi da Olgotha pobedi "pošteno") i razne crowd control tehnike koje (bi trebalo da) ima na raspolaganju. Ali je zabavno jer pokazuje kakav tačno odnos može da se razvije između igrača i virtuelnog lika koji je pritom proceduralno generisan i zbog čega mnogi misle da je Shadow of Mordor igra koja će imati dalekosežne posledice na dalji razvoj igara:

Recently the responses to mass shootings in Aurora, CO and at Sandy Hook Elementary followed this theme as media consumption came into the equation. But can consumption of violent media really be a factor in real-world violence? A recent study published in the Journal of Communication by a researcher at Stetson University found that there were no associations between media violence consumption in society and societal violence.
Christopher Ferguson (Stetson University) published his findings in the Journal of Communication. Ferguson conducted two studies that raised the question if whether the incidence of violence in media correlates with actual violence rates in society. The first study looked at movie violence and homicide rates between 1920 and 2005. The second study looked at videogame violence consumption and its relationship to youth violence rates from 1996-2011. He found that societal consumption of media violence is not predictive of increased violence rates in society.
For the first study, independent raters evaluated the frequency and graphicness of violence in popular movies from 1920-2005. These were correlated to homicide rates for the same years. Overall, movie violence and homicide rates were not correlated. However, during the mid-20th century, movie violence and homicide rates did appear to correlate slightly, which may have led some to believe a larger trend was at play. That correlation reversed after 1990 so that movie violence became correlated with fewer homicides. Prior to the 1940s, movie violence was similarly related to fewer homicides, not more.
In the second study on video game violence, the Entertainment Software Ratings Board (ESRB) ratings were used to estimate the violent content of the most popular video games for the years 1996-2011. These estimates of societal video game violence consumption were correlated against federal data on youth violence rates during the same years. Violent video game consumption was strongly correlated with declines in youth violence.  However, it was concluded that such a correlation is most likely due to chance and does not indicate video games caused the decline in youth violence. 
Previous studies have focused on laboratory experiments and aggression as a response to movie and videogame violence, but this does not match well with real-life exposure. Other studies have indicated that, in the short term, the release of violent movies or video games is associated with declines in societal violence. However, no one has examined these trends long-term. Some scholars have argued that movies are becoming more violent, but none have examined whether this phenomenon is a concern for society. This study is the first to suggest that movie violence and video game violence consumption probably are increasing over time, but that there is little evidence that this has caused a problem for society.
"Society has a limited amount of resources and attention to devote to the problem of reducing crime. There is a risk that identifying the wrong problem, such as media violence, may distract society from more pressing concerns such as poverty, education and vocational disparities and mental health," Ferguson said. "This research may help society focus on issues that really matter and avoid devoting unnecessary resources to the pursuit of moral agendas with little practical value."

Bungie je poklonio jedinstvenu pušku momku koji igra Destiny u svrhu oporavljanja od sedam operativnih zahvata na mozgu (posle čega je imao ozbiljan poremećaj pamćenja itd.). Lekari kažu da FPS igre užasno pomažu u njegovom slučaju.

Neverovatno, ovi profesori čak i kad pokušaju da se modernizuju opet ispadnu zastareli. Na laptopu se vidi originalna Dota, koja se vrti na starom Warcraft 3 endžinu. Bolje bi im bilo da pređu na Dotu 2, jer je tu upravljanje mnogo lakše i igranje komfornije, pa mogu da se bolje koncentrišu na ono što je zaista bitno, timski rad.

Ова игра се базира на нама познатој игри ,,глувих телефона", али је у знатној мери измењена и прилагођена мало старијим ученицима-студентима.    Minecraft Hunger Games Tournament је турнир конципиран на трећем делу филма Игре глади, чија премијера се одржава недељу дана пре овог турнира. У суботу у 15 часова наши играчи (Дистрикт 11) играју против играча из других библиотека, а уколико победе у својој групи, играју финале које ће се одржати у 22 часа. Окружна библиотека Ен Арбор из америчке државе Мичиген обезбедила је софтвер за Minecraft Hunger Games турнир.

LostArk je igra koju pravi korejski studio Smilegate, već tri godine se razvija i u pitanju bi trebalo da bude fuzija Diablo formule sa MMO elementima. Ne znam kako će to sve d'ispadne, ali fak mi, ovaj osmominutni trejler izgleda tu gud tu bi tru:

Ovo izgleda baš igrozovno, no, možda je sada pravi trenutak da priznam kako sam svestan da je Diablo II odlična igra, ali da lično nikad nisam osetio neku posebnu naklonost prema istoj. Premda sam tvrdio da je osećam kada bih se našao u društvu tvrdokornog Diablo fana.  :mrgreen:


Avaj, pričama o igrama kojima nije bilo suđeno možemo pridružiti i ovu o nastavku orginalnog Deus Exa.

Imam ja to na PC-ju odavno, samo vreba pravi trenutak. Mada, ako se pravi trenutak otegne, naravno da ga možda poigram na kraju i na PS4... A Bajoneta... pa to je orgazam u HD!!!!!!!!

Ne videh u tekstu (možda sam prevideo, jer sam više pretrčao preko njega, nego što sam čitao) ono što bi bio najzanimljiviji podatak. Koliko igara definitivno nikad neće izaći od tih 75% pokušaja koji (još uvek) nisu dosegli cilj?

Pa, to se ne zna, ogromna većina se vodi kao da je i dalje u razvoju, dakle, objavljuju se novi buildovi, apdejtuje se strana sa informacijama itd. Samo par igara je uklonjeno zato što je postalo jasno da su ih developeri napustili. No, fakat je da bi sad tu moralo da se razgrne i vidi koliko tih koji objavljuju apdejte za svoju igru stvarno nešto rade a koliko zamazuju oči masi sa apdejtima koji su tipa "pročistili smo šejdere i stabilizovali kod". Opet, Early Access uvek ide uz upozorenje da treba da platiš za ovu igru samo ako želiš da je igraš takvu kakva je BAŠ SADA.

Pa, jeste, sa pravne. I, u teoriji, sa potrošačke takođe, naprosto, pogledaš kakva je igra, kakav je developer koji je pravi, baciš pogled na cenu i iskalkulišeš da li ti sve to zvuči kako treba. E, sad, trenutno smo još uvek u ranom periodu razvoja ove filozofije pa ima problematičnih momenata kao što je onaj sa Spacebase DF9, gde je igra koštala 20 evra ne zato što je trenutni sadržaj to opravdavao već zato što se očekivalo da će developer renomea kao što je Double Fine ipak na kraju isporučiti većinu obećanog. Pa smo videli kako se to završilo. Ako ništa drugo, Massive Chalice je mnogo zaokruženije iskustvo za sada a izlazak pune verzije treba da bude tek u Martu.

Might & Delight, švedski studio koji je napravio vrlodobre Pid i Shelter i trenutno radi Shelter 2, je u međuvremenu na Steam izbacio svoj "side project", shootemup igru The Blue Flamingo koja je interesantna jer su nivoi u igri, kao i modeli brodova napravljeni ručno, kao što su i eksplozije kreirane petardama i sličnim pirotehničkim sredstvima. Igra je nekih pet evra na Steamu, pa ko voli shmupove, može da proba:

Dio igrača na PC platformi požalio se Ubisoftu kako njihov Far Cry 4 nema obećanu opciju promjene FOV-a, a Ubisoft im je odgovorio i zašto.

Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms je konačno stigao. Moram priznati da nisam imao pojma da je ovo  party based igra, pa mi je stoga duplo zanimljivija nego što je bila, iako je H&S. Minus je što će Heretic Kingdoms biti objavljivan u delovima, ovo je samo prvo parče igre.
