Gruzija ismeva Putina u pesmi za "Evroviziju"

Gruzija po svoj prilici neće moći da očekuje bodove od Rusije na ovogodišnjem izboru za Pesmu Evrovizije, s obzirom na to da je za takmičenje priložila pesmu koja se sprda sa premijerom Vladimirom Putinom.

Pesma, koju je Gruzija danas izabrala da je predstavlja na Pesmi Evrovizije, zove se "We Don't Wanna Put In".
"Za slučaj da bilo ko pomisli da se radi samo o lošoj gramatici, namera postaje jasna kad pevač sa gruzijskim akcentom krene da speluje izraz "Put In" - i to zvuči kao prezime ruskog premijera", navodi agencija AP.
Refren pesme koju izvodi grupa "3G and Stephane" glase: "We don't want to put in/the negative mood/it's killing the groove".

Gruzija isprva nije želela da učestvuje na ovogodišnjoj Pesmi Evrovizije, koja će biti održana u Moskvi, od 12. do 16. maja.
Gruzija i Rusija prekinule su diplomatske odnose prošlog leta. Tada je izbio rat u kome je Rusija preuzela kontrolu nad dve separatističke oblasti u Gruziji, Abhaziji i Severnoj Osetiji, i nanela gruzijskoj armiji ogromnu štetu. "Isprva, odluka je bila da ne učestvujemo na Evroviziji u Moskvi. Ali, onda smo primili pisma od predstavnika doslovno svih zemalja koje učestvuju na ovom prestižnom takmičenju; svi su tražili da odluku promenimo i pošaljemo naše pevače", rekla je Ratja Uzndadze, visoki predstavnik gruzijske televizije "Kanal jedan".

Pesma koju izvode "3G and Stephane" rađena je u disko stilu 1970-ih godina.
"'3G' su tri devojke u vrućim pantalonicama, a Stefanova pojava i pokreti na sceni podsećaju na Gruča Marksa, koji imitira Džona Travoltu", ocenjuje AP

Georgia's entry at the 54th Eurovision Song Contest, scheduled to be held in Moscow in May, has has been ruled unacceptable by organisers, the BBC said on May 10 2009.

The reason was the lyrics for the disco-funk song entitled "We Don't Wanna Put In".

This, according to the BBC, "appears to poke fun at Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin" which was against the competition's rules forbidding political content in entries.

The BBC quoted a contest spokesman as saying that "no lyrics, speeches, gestures of a political or similar nature shall be permitted."

The song, performed by female trio 3G along with male vocalist Stephane, has a distinct 1970s feel and contains the chorus: "We don't wanna put in, the negative move, it's killin' the groove," the BBC said.

The Geneva-based European Broadcasting Union, which runs the contest, said Georgia can rewrite the lyrics of its entry or select another song.

The BBC quoted Natya Uznadze, the group's producer, that they had yet to receive official confirmation of the decision while Vladimir Smirnov from Russia's state-run Channel One - which will broadcast the contest - said the network had nothing to do with the decision.

Relations between Russia and Georgia have been tense ever since the latter declared its independence after the fall of the Soviet Union 20 year ago. After last year's military conflict between the two sides over Georgia's breakaway region of South Ossetia relations deteriorated further.

Georgia initially announced it would not take part in the Moscow contest due to political objections, but the decision was reversed in December, the BBC said.
