levicarska filmska teorija i kritika kraja šezdesetih i tokom sedamdesetih je zasnovana upravo na altiseru. no to je neka druga i poprilično zastarela priča.
otvoreno prihvatanje hegemonih principa moze da vodi ka kritici ideologije.pitanje je u ime čega se to čini.
u ovom slucaju je kejdz taj koji je unutar zacaranog kruga. droga je upravo ultimativna kapitalistička roba, što je više uzimaš više ti se traži.

Uostalom, ako ga predstavimo kao borca protiv kapitalističke eksploatacije, borca za pravdu, da se kriminalci pohapse itd... a taj isti Kejdž je narkoman - onda je to i kritika lažne američke opozicije, sa sovijm pričama o legalizaciji droge i prostitucije i svim ostalim kvaziproblemima za koje se bori.

U tom slučaju film je još složeniji i još bolji.

Jude Law Joins Werner Herzog's QUEEN OF THE DESERT

More star power has joined the cast of Werner Herzog's Gertrude Bell biopic Queen of the Desert. The pic already has Naomi Watts as Bell and Robert Pattinson at T.E. Lawrence (otherwise known as Lawrence of Arabia).

Personally I am still struggling to visualize Pattinson as Lawrence but if you're going to get Twi-hards to learn about the history of a real female role model this is a good way to do it.

    Bell -- like Lawrence -- was an explorer, writer, archaeologist and attaché for the British Empire, credited with helping to catalyze the formation of the Middle East at the dawn of the 20th century. She and Lawrence often crossed paths.
