Imao si bolji ukus nekad? :lol: No, šalu na stranu, meni se na prvo slušanje nova Lisa Germano prilično dopada, mada mi je ipak bolji prethodni In the Maybe World. Ovo je naravno subjektivno, ali ja lepši glas od njenog još nisam čuo...

@zakk: Lightning bolt sam već skinuo i preslušao par puta, nije loše... A možda skinem i tog Vadera. Hoću da se obrazujem malo, sramota me da slušam samo albume koji su stariji od mene.  :oops:

The Fauns - The Fauns



"The Fauns formed in the summer of 2007, initially a three piece they have expanded into a live performing six piece fronted by vocalist Alison Garner.

Unashamedly influenced by the shoegazing sound of the late eighties and early nineties they are now causing ripples on the Bristol live circuit with their sculptured soundscapes.

2007 & 2008 Have been devoted to creating a collection of beautiful, loud, melancholic music with smudged guitars and vocals. During this period, tracks have appeared on "The Secret Garden" and "Just Like A Daydream" shoegaze compilations."

Pleq - The Metamorphosis



"Pleq is an experimental IDM project by Bartosz Dziadosz Based in Katowice, Poland. Pleq has developed his highly-synthetic competencies through a series of dis-reality attempts, monastery supervision and a romantic way of handling peer pressure. His motives in sound resemble an abandoned ironworks garage during the industrial revolution, where melancholy is paired with harmonies of magnetizing structure. Melodic IDM based on click 'n cuts of a very high level. On track 1 and 7 the addional voice is by Chihiro and on track 9 the voice comes from Building castles out of matchsticks."

Teško da mogu da odgovorim na ovo pitanje jer ne umem da kažem šta sam uopšte od "elektronike" iz ove godine i čuo, s obzirom da uglavnom meandriram... Ali ima, recimo novi Prefuse73, pa AGF/ Delay porodična kolaboracija koja se zove Symptoms i standardno je odlična. Ima novi A Hawk and a hacksaw koji nije elektronika nego narodnjak ali dopao bi ti se... Pa novi Alva Noto i novi SND za onog ko voli svedeni Raster Noton zvuk. Ima i novi Cinematic Orchestra koji nije elektronika ali i ništa ne valja... Ima i novi Tim Hecker na Krankyju ali nisam ga još preslušao, no znajući njega, mogu da pretpostavim da bi se to tebi dopalo. Izašao je i novi David Sylvian. Imaš i Giuseppea Ielasija ali on je možda malo preterano hermetičan...

Možda bi bilo idealno tako podeliti po žanrovima, ali nešto nisam primetio da se ovde inače pominje gomila albuma tj. nema tog mora gde bi se pogubili. Ja u 90% slučajeva okačim link za nešto što sam već skinuo i poslušao ili nameravam da poslušam, a jedan deo toga je i pop muzika kao npr. pomenuta gospođica Shapiro...

NA!, mog omiljenog Jima, barem onog medju muzicarima (njegov album "Eureku", vrlo subjektivno pozicioniram medju 10 naj-albuma EVER!).
Nemojte da Vas  iznenadi to sto se album, zapravo, sastoji od jedne jedine stvari (u trajanju od 38'), ali koja svojom viseslojnom strukturom, svojom
melodijsko-ritmickom i stilskom akrobatikom stvara impresiju kao da se album, ustvari, sastoji od 10 (i vise) pjesama. Stilski najvise lici njegovom prijasnjem albumu "Bad Timing", i neka je vrsta o'rourkovskog stilskog krizhanca izmedju John Faheya i Van Dyke Parksa (dvije njegove najvece muzicke inspiracije, s tim da je - za razliku od izricito faheyovskog "Timinga" - ovdje svirka oplemenjena i uticajem ovog drugog composera , tako da na albumu - osim akusticne gitare i upotrebe "tople elektronike", svojstvenih "Timingu" - ucestvuje citav mali orkestrarijum razlicitih instrumenata, sto ga opet, s druge strane, bar po tome priblizava njegovom remek-albumu "Eureka"); jos jedan je to odlican album dragog nam Jima (u nizu kvalitativno slicnih), album koji zahtijeva slusalacku strpljivost i posvecenost u otkrivanju njegovog nemalog sonichnog bogatstva (kako, uostalom, to i iziskuju sva ona djela cija "upotrebna vrijednost" nikako nije instantna).

Svim ostalim, sve preporuke da ga i oni skinu...

Te, za one koji jos nisu culi za ovog suvog muzickog genija (nimalo neskromno kvalificiranje, vjerujte mi na tim rijecima), mali portret Jim O'Rourka sa allmusic.com sajta (za one koji sa Jimovim radom do sada nisu bili upoznati, ovom portretu nedostaje za njih vjerovatno najinteresantnija, kao i naprivlacnija referenca, koja relativno skoro vremenski datira, a to je njegova saradnja sa Sonic Youth, gdje kao pridruzeni, peti clan originalne SY postave, zajedno sa njima sviracki i produkcijski djeluje u razdoblju od 2000. do 2005., poslije cega ih napusta i preseljava u Japan, gdje i dan-danas zivi):
