..UNRIVALED je mesecima unazad hajpovan kao bare necessity za sve istinske ljubitelje martial arts ekspoloatacija. Nažalost, nije ni prineti toj reputaciji. Predugačak i opreambiciozan (koncipiran je kao ROCKY za Hectora Echavarriju) je za vlastito dobro, ali ipak može da se podiči sa nekolicinom odličnih prizora tuča u kavezima (ostale akcione scene su iznuđene i odraz neumerenosti autora). UNRIVALED pati od stalnih boljki ovog soja - neekonomično otvaranje, nedolična gluma, te dodatna (pa i smešna) motivacija već dovoljno najarcanog glavnog junaka, ponajčešće u vidu stradanja nekog epizodnog, a njemu važnog lika...

Ovog Strendzera sam planirao da preskochim, ali ima iznenadjujuce respektabilnog TV rezhisera za kormilom (Dexter, Shark, Republic of Doyle...) tako da zapravo ima shanse i da bude za nechega!

Undisputed III Redemption mi je izuzetno prijao. Cripp ga je odlično živopisao u svom Ćošku, u pitanju je akcioni pravo-na-DVD film koji se ne stidi onoga što jeste - pravolinijski akcijaš sa puno tučnjave. Priča je izuzetno jednostavna, pokrivene su samo najosnovinje stvari ali to ne smeta. Tuče su odlično urađene. Glumci su utrenirani. Režiser raspoložen. Prava uživancija - ali samo za fanove ove vrste filmova.

I am glad there are fans to the UNDISPUTED series. But I urge you from the bottom of my heart : PLEASE do not download the film illegally!

If you do want UNDISPUTED IV to ever happen.... The faith of 'Undisputed IV' will be determined by the sales, rentals, legal downloading etc of 'Undisputed III'. If it is a success then the producers/ studio ( the big wigs) will go along and approve doing UD4. - So I urge you loyal fans, please get the movie using the legal channels only!

Prema igrici Tekken nemam nikakav poseban odnos dalje od toga shto sam je par puta igrao i uvek uzimao onog kapoeristu kojeg otpreme na samom pochetku filma, pa tako ne mogu da procenim vernost i odanost igri, ali kao STV akcijash, Tekken je sasvim pristojan i respektabilan proizvod.

Traje ispod sat i po, makljazhe su uchestale i super, a fotografija i rezhija su u vizuelnom smislu u gornjem domu STV kvaliteta. Dakle, sasvim fini film kada je chovek raspolozhen za solidno turnirsko fajtanje.

Inače, izgleda pristojno, a podela je više nego ohrabrujuća. Ako su pustili ove glumce da se razmašu (ne samo u tuči, nego i u priči) biće ovo solidan užitak.

Despite that Paul WS Anderson's "Death Race" couldn't make back it's $45 million budget domestically, Universal Pictures decided to move forward with a straight-to-DVD prequel.

The second installment will hit stores on January 18th, but the studio is predicting that it will perform very well, which is why Universal has already put "Death Race 3" into development.

Anderson's film is a remake of the 1975 "Death Race 2000," and "Death Race 2" is a prequel. It's anyone's guess when on the timeline the new film will take place or whether Luke Goss, Danny Trejo, Sean Bean and Ving Rhames will return. Stay tuned.

...da se sa zakašnjenjem pridužim pohvalama za GAME OF DEATH koji mi je baš, baš legao; imao je Snipes i neobičnijih i kvalitetnijih filmova, DTV film ume da iznedri i privlačnije i sveukupno veštije skrojene flickove, ali GoD se ističe jednostavnošću i čistoćom izraza koje se onda nameću kao viši okvirni koncept koji su osmislili autori ovog ljudski dobrog filma sasvim na mestu po svim osnovama...

... dopao mi se (i to baš) i DEATH RACE 2;  vazda sam slab na ovu sortu – brze, bučne, konsekventne i žestoke DTV nastavke (mada je ovo, naravno, prednastavak), zaista zgodan i efektan akcioni flick, kao stvoren za povratak vere u mogućnosti DTV  pregaoca i istinsko uživanje u zanatski umešno skockanoj hipertrofiranoj akciji; a i Luke Goss se  (i to bez maske (doduše, bez maske većim delom filma)pokazao kao akcioni heroj svake pohvale vredan...

...ovde bih ugnezdio i veliko iznenađenje - TAKERS koji  želim glasno da pohvalim, odličan heist pljačkaš u kome sve (osim nekoliko upadljivih tragova štrihovanja pri kojima su iz finalne verzije gotovo potpuno eliminisani očigledno u priču dobrano inkorporirani likovi koje su tumačili Zoe Saldana i Jonathon Scaech) funkcioniše kako treba i pravi mali dragulj čistokrvnog žanrovskog filma u kom se fino spajaju nepatvoreni duh B akcijaša iz zlatne (i neprežaljene) VHS ere i posh izraza sa punim pokrićem...
