Он би у Америци по кратком поступку био осуђен или на седамдесет и кусур доживотних робија или, у некој од цивилизованијих савезних држава, на моментално смакнуће. И то је отприлике једино што ми се свиђа у тој држави коју иначе мрзим. Стварно ми није јасно да се ТОЛИКО времена троши да би се дошло до пресуде која је сваком нормалном очигледна од почетка, а казна је смијурија. Испада да је за свако убиство добио по три мјесеца робије.

Па знам, али ја говорим о принципу. ТЕОРЕТСКИ је могуће да га пусте након 21 године и у том случају испада да је за убиство човјека добио нешто типа три мјесеца затвора. Без обзира што технички (зависно од старости осуђеног, наравно) нема неке разлике између екстремно дуге затворске казне и доживотне робије, а свакако нема разлике између једне и двије доживотне робије (осим у ИЗУЗЕТНИМ случајевима), мени се свиђа што неко може да добије педесет доживотних робија.

Security expert: Iran and North Korea teaming up to fight malware like Duqu, Flame, Stuxnet

Iran and North Korea have been in bed together for a long time, but recently they threw off the covers for the whole world to see. At least one security expert thinks there is a malware angle here that is worth underlining.
At the start of this month, news broke that Iran and North Korea have strengthened their ties, specifically by signing a number of cooperation agreements on science and technology. The two states signed the pact on Saturday, declaring that it represented a united front against Western powers. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's Supreme Leader, told Kim Yong Nam, North Korea's ceremonial head of state, the two countries have common enemies and aligned goals.
On Monday, security firm F-Secure weighed in on the discussion. The company believes Iran and North Korea may be interested in collaborating against government-sponsored malware attacks such as Duqu, Flame, and Stuxnet.
"It's highly likely that one of the reasons for this co-operation is for them to work together regarding their cyber defence and cyber offense strategies," F-Secure security chief Mikko Hypponen told V3. "Both of these countries have clear interest in improving their cyber capability. And both of them have massive armies. Iran and North Korea have both armies that are among the 10 largest in the world."
For the uninitiated, Stuxnet is a highly sophisticated piece of malware discovered in June 2010. It initially spreads via Windows, eventually targeting Siemens industrial software and equipment. Different variants of Stuxnet targeted five Iranian organizations, with the probable target widely suspected to be uranium enrichment infrastructure in the country. Duqu, which was discovered in September 2011, is very similar to Stuxnet, is believed to be created by the same authors, and is also related to the nuclear program of Iran.
Flame is the most recent such state-sponsored malware, and was discovered in May 2012. It is being used for targeted cyber espionage in Middle Eastern countries, but infections have also been reported in Europe and North America. It attacks Windows computers and can spread to other systems over a LAN or via USB stick. Flame is capable of recording audio, screenshots, keyboard activity, network traffic, Skype conversations, and can even download contact information from nearby Bluetooth-enabled devices.
It has been widely speculated that Israel and the US have been involved in the development of at least one of these pieces of malware, and possibly all three.

Since news of his appointment emerged, senior scientists have spoken up. John Krebs, professor of zoology at the University of Oxford, said: "There is overwhelming evidence that homeopathic medicine is not effective. It would be a real blow for those who want medicine to be science-based if the secretary of state were to promote homeopathy because of his personal beliefs."
Edzard Ernst, former director of complementary medicine at the University of Exeter, UK, added: "To praise the positive contribution of homeopathy to the NHS does not bode well for the new person in charge of UK healthcare. One can only hope that with the reality of the new job, there will be a more rational insight in the actual evidence on this topic."
How did Hunt's views on homeopathy emerge? Firstly, he signed a parliamentary document called an Early Day Motion back in 2007, supporting the provision of homeopathic medicine by the NHS. Such motions are used routinely as barometers of parliamentary interest in issues – in this case, spending public money on treating people with aqueous solutions so diluted that they no longer contain a trace of the supposedly active ingredients they began with.
By signing the motion, along with 205 other MPs, Hunt agreed that parliament "welcomes the positive contribution made to the health of the nation by the NHS homeopathic hospitals", and "calls on the government [then Labour] to support these valuable national assets".
Not for turning At the time, one of Hunt's constituents, Sean Ellis, took issue with his support for homeopathy. He expressed his disappointment in a letter to Hunt, explaining that there's little or no evidence it works, and that spending money on it drains resources from treatments that do work.
Here's what Hunt wrote back. "I understand that it is your view that homeopathy is not effective, and therefore that people should not be encouraged to use it as a treatment. However, I am afraid that I have to disagree with you on this issue." So, he clearly thinks homeopathy works. He finished with: "I realise my answer will be a disappointing one for you, but I hope that the letter helps to clarify my view."
Well, minister, I think we're magic-crystal clear on that now. I can see the logic in backing it. Think of the savings if all those expensive proven treatments and drugs are phased out, and patients are offered cheap little vials of water instead.
Not only will the health of the nation rally overnight, the government will also make massive savings by closing down most of the existing NHS. Except that critics might argue the government plans to do that anyway by handing control of NHS budgets from independent, not-for-profit trusts to for-profit consortia of family doctors. At least we'll have a thriving homeopathic sector that will be the envy of the world. One way to improve liquidity, I guess.
I never thought I'd find myself saying this, given the contempt with which his proposed NHS reforms were viewed by many healthcare professionals, from doctors and nurses to support staff – but come back Andrew Lansley. All is forgiven.

U homeopatiju se ne veruje, to nije religija. 

S obzirom da današnja medicina leči simptom, a ne uzrok, homeopatija može da bude lep uvod ili podstrek na lečenje celog tela (i "duha", jelte), a ne samo delova tela (bez "duha"), s obzirom da su mnoga oboljenja psihosomatska.

Videćemo kakvi će im biti rezultati...

Dokazi da homeopatija funkcioniše su na nivou statističkog šuma. Homeopatija se svodi na placebo efekat, koji ne leči ništa, nego samo umanjuje bol.

gotovo isto radi i tradicionalna medicina.

homeopatiju ne predstavljaju samo šećerni placebo "lekići", takvom je predstavljaju neznalice. homeopatija uključuje širok spektar metoda alternativne medicine i psihologije.

Nisi u pravu. Možda primer nije adekvatan, al' ipak ću ga izneti.

Godinama, bukvalno, sam pokušao da oborim visok pritisak narodnim metodama (beli luk i ostali obaraći ) i nisam uspeo. Naposletku, odem kod omraženih mi lekara i prepišu mi terapiju. Nakon što sam pre nekoliko meseci prestao da uzimam terapiju, a uzimao sam je dva ili tri meseca, pritisak mi je normalan.
I dalje sam pod istim stresom i svim ostalim okolnostima dok sam imao visok pritisak.

Ova priča ide u prilog placebo efektu i da medicina leči simptome a ne uzrok, jer uzrok nije ustanovljen (masnoće u krvi, po najnovijim saznanjima, nisu direktno povezane sa pritiskom a i njih imam povišene) ali ipak, da nisam otišao lekaru pod terapiju, pritisak bi i dalje bio visok, a ja bih se i dalje osećao na beli luk.

Raznim homeoterapijama (koje papreno koštaju) nisam ni razmišljao da se podvrgnem.

Uzgred, izraz "alternativna medicina" pokriva mnogo toga. Šta tačno pokriva homeopatija, pored imprintovane vode?

homeopatija je odlicna za one koji su skloni verovanju u sta god!

tradicionalna medicina je agresivna i bezosećajna. leči se uzrok, a ne simptom. ne želim trad.medicini da oduzmem sve zasluge i metode lečenja, naravno. ipak, pitanje je koliko njene metode pomažu u kratkoročnom periodu, a štete u dugoročnom. mislim, samo je trad.medicina mogla da smisli lečenje raka otrovima, dok se mnogi ljudi leče (i izleče!) ishranom, na primer.
