Drawing together film theory, queer theory, childhood studies, and reception studies, The Revolting Child in Horror Film explores the possibilities of 'not growing up' as a model for a queer praxis that confronts the notion of heternormative maturity. Many horror films are homophobic in their anxiety about nonnormative childhood and yet they provide a space for queer pleasure. The monstrous child is the allegorical queer child in various formations of horror cinema: the child with a secret, the child "possessed" by Otherness, the changeling child, the terrible gang. As gays and lesbians have been culturally deemed "arrested" in their maturity, the link between queer and childhood has always been a tacit one.

The horror genre is continually embroiled in reinvention; this is apparent in how the horror film explores technology as a manner for exposing everyday fears. Uvod u ovogodišnji drugi po redu Festival fantastične književnosti Art-Anima je prošao više nego uspešno – piše PISB. Preko 80 ljudi je došlo u podrum knjižare Plato, na predavanje "Legenda o besmrtnosti: Vampir u folkloru, književnosti i filmu", koje je održao dr Tomislav Longinović, profesor slavistike i uporedne književnosti na Univerzitetu Viskonsin.

Dr Longinović je svoje predavanje održao iz više delova, počevši prvo sa tri teorije, od brojnih, koje se bave fantastikom, da bi se okrenuo istoriji i legendi o besmrtnosti – koja postoji još u epu o Gilgamešu, pa se proteže dalje kroz istoriju i književnost, a nama je najbliža kroz hrišćanstvo, da bi se i vampir pojavio kao jedno od vidova besmrnosti. Prvi izveštaji o njemu se mogu naći u bečkoj štampi u XVIII veku, a interesantno je da je između 1725. i 1740. bilo dosta naučnih radova koji su se bavili temom vampirizma, dok je vampir kao kulturna ikona ipak nastao kasnije.

Dr Tomislav Longinović je potom prešao na priču o sopstvenom doprinosu teme o vampirima kroz tri paradigme – volšebnu, racionalnu i nomadsku, potanko ih obrazlažući.

Usledila je i jedna ilustracija – francuska priča iz XIX veka koja oslikava sve pobrojane paragigme, ali uvodi i motiv seksualnosti koji je kasnije sve više uplivavao u priče o vampirima, na ovaj ili onaj način. Ako je u književnosti i na filmu vampir zavodnik, postoje slučajevi u kojima su ljubavnici koristili vampira (ljubavnik sa belim čaršavom prebačen preko glave) da bi se "opravdali" pred selom, ali im to nije uvek prolazilo, kao u jednom slučaju u Srbiji iz 19. veka gde su takvi "domišljati" ljubavnici raskrinkani i obešeni.

Usledila su pitanja prisutnih, među kojima je bilo i domaćih vrsnih poznavalaca horora – dr Dejan Ognjanović i dr Marko Pišev, kao i onih koji će svoja akademska zvanja da dobiju radeći radove iz oblasti vampirizma. Stoga ni ne čudi da je predavanje bilo snimano čitavim redom mobilnih telefona!

Jedna od zanimljivosti bila je vezana za pitanje postavljeno dr Longinoviću o sličnim stvorenjima u ostatku sveta, gde je on naveo primer iz Afrike i neprevodivom terminu iz Konga o vatrogascima koji, navodno (zbog crvenih kamiona) otimaju ljude i vade im krv, da bi se potom ta krv prebacila u Belgiju, i tamo iskoristila za pravljenje bombona (crvenih), koje se potom vraćaju u Afriku i prodaju tamošnjim stanovnicima!

Да, буџетни диск Синапсе које има знатно бољу слику од издања Арова али нема италијански тон. Претпостављам да је било мало публике чим се плаћа карта и да се нико није бунио због изостанка српског титла јер су гледаоци образовани.
